Hey everyone! I've finally settled on a theme for a full-on fanfic and it's going good slowly. I'm balancing my writing between imagines and this story and another two because once upon a time my brain just.. had a huge idea fart and... I took note of EVERYTHING. And this is one of them! Here's the sneak peek/prologue. I hope you all look forward to it!

~A flower that blooms in diversity is the most rare and beautiful of all.~

"Hey, princess. Watcha watchin?"

"Oh, appa it's Mulan. Remember the lady who pretended to be a boy so she can save her appa?"

"You've seen that so many times princess. Why again?"

"Because I love her strength appa. I wanna grow up strong like her too."

9-year-old Han Juyoung smiled at her father, making the man weak in the knees. Ever since she was born, she had him wrapped around her little finger. Nothing has changed.

"And so you shall my lily, so you shall." he smiled cuddling her on the sofa as they watched.

"Alright, you two couch bugs, time to leave. Halmoni is waiting for us." A feminine voice cooed from the kitchen. Out came the mother of Juyoung. Beautiful woman. At an early age, she too captured the man she calls husband now. Both successful in school, work, and now, family.

As the family head out of their home, they were filled with laughs and stories from their day. JuYoung was just starting out in 3rd grade and her parents were recently promoted to a 6 digit position. Her grandparents were also hooked on her. Though there's only one grandparent on her mother's side, both grandparents of her father's side took the liberty of taking in their widowed relative to make living easier for all three of them. So once every month, the family would visit all three of them.

With Juyoungs parent's schedule, it never occurred to them to have another child. Juyoung was everything they ever wanted in a daughter.

"So, Juyoungie. What will you tell halmoni when we get there?"

"I'll tell them that I watched Mulan again and tell her that if someday any of you are in trouble, I'll be the superhero to save the day."

"That you are princess. Just remember, eomma and appa love you aaaaaaallways okay?" their little girls giggle made both parents smile a thousand volts.

"Yes, appa. I will aaaaaaaaaaalways remember."

The parents kept doting on their beautiful daughter that they didn't notice the black truck rushing to their side.

All they felt was their car being swept from the street.

The tires barely touching the concrete.

Their car swirling in the air landing on the curb.

And everything goes black.

Juyoung was the first to come to. The first thing she felt was grass. Wet, almost damp. She opened her eyes slowly to see trees. The sunlight coming just over her. She sat up slowly but failed because of the pain in her head. All she could do was tilt it, facing the concrete she saw from the side.

Seconds later, she wished she didn't.

Her family's car was upside down. All doors opened and her mother's side, the passengers, facing her. She can see both her parents still inside and on their seats, still buckled. She can see them struggling as she tried to crawl to them.

"A-appa.."

What was new to her sight, was a man in a suit. All black from the hair, to the goggles, shoes and gun.

Gun? Appa! Eomma!

She tried to crawl more, reaching for her beloved parents who were still very much alive, but struggling to get out. Though far, she can still hear their cries.

"Find Juyoung!" that was Appa.

"She must've flown out from her seat! She's not at the back." that Eomma.

"Jiyoung quick! Before they find her!"

"I'm trying!!"

Juyoung's parents haven't seen the man. He was slowly approaching the car. Aware that his victims were still alive.

Just as the father was able to unbuckle and crawl out of the car, the man in black raises his gun.

BANG.

"Jiyoung? JIYOUNG!" her Eomma screamed. Just as she was able to unbuckle as well.

The father's body fell on the car, leaning against the tires.

A-appa...

"Please, don't!" she saw her eomma struggle to fight against the man holding the gun against her. Just as it was pointed away, the man raised his other arm, knife in hand and stabbed it straight through her.

"J-junhee..." she can hear her appa. It's not a whisper, more a wheeze. Just as her mother fell dead on the ground, so did her father.

The man in black stood straight, dusting off the arm her eomma was fighting against. His job was done. At least he thought it was.

Because he didn't notice the crying little girl at the other side of the curb, passed out.
