On a late Saturday night I was sitting around on my couch watching tv when I heard someone banging around in the hallway outside my apartment door. It was so loud, I finally got up to investigate. When I opened my door, a man fell into my doorway and passed-out drunk. I tried to shove him back into the hall, but he was too heavy. Instead, I left him on the floor, went to my bedroom, pushed the door up just a little and went back to my bed to get some sleep. The next morning I woke up to groaning he was woke wondering where he was and freaking out along with sweat dripping from his forehead.

"Hey are you okay?" I said watching as the stranger jumped from fright not noticing I had walked in the room.

He looked up at me as if he had seen a ghost and the world was about to end and then he said "Hi where am I." I wanted to tell him to hurry up and leave my apartment but i knew that he wasn't in the predicament to do so being that he was so intoxicated he couldn't remember where he was. I vaguely replied "you are in my apartment , you were so drunk last night that you were in the hall making so much noise that i opened my door and you fell in my door way and stayed there all night''.

I stood there leaning against the wall watching him grab his head and close his eyes in pain from what I already knew was a hangover. As I observed the stranger in my doorway I realized that he was Joe Parker aka the captain of the basketball team.

"Is there someone that you need to call to come get you?" I asked taking out my cellphone from my jogger pants pocket. He opened his eyes and said to me " no its fine I have to go my dad is probably at home freaking out". I watched as he got off the floor and unlocked my door to leave. I still couldn't get over the fact that Joe Parker had spent a night at my house.

At school I am Considered a nobody and after this he probably wouldn't even say anything to me being that his girlfriend Trina bullies me. Trina and I were bestfriends sine diapers but she changed so much since we got in highschool and left me to be with the cool kids.

When Trina and I were friends we were unseperatable and didn't go a day without each other. we were so close that people thought that we were sisters and so we began telling people that we were. We went everywhere together and didn't care what anybody what to say about it. we spent holidays together and even went to summer camp together every year. Things started taking a turn for the worst when we turned 11 and Trina had gotten her period and her body started maturing very early and the boys stared giving her so much attention.

Every since then Trina has always made me feel like she was better than me because I matured later than she did.

At the end of eighth grade I found out that my father was having an affair with the next door neighbor and mom decided to move to another apartment building on the south side of Los Angeles California. I couldn't believe that my dad would do something like that and the whole divorce situation didn't make it any better.

Mom and dad had such a hard time co-parenting and didn't really talk to each other and only communicated though me. Dad wanted to get full custody of me but the judge didn't grant it and I could only see him on the assigned days given by the court. Welcome to my life that just kept turning and turning.
