mackenzie got to school and met up with devenity and dylan at their usual spot in the main lobby, next to the group of boys like ashton, joey, hayden, zane, and some more friends of hers.

everyone either feared these teenagers or were obsessed with them, and there was no in between. they were all hot, popular, rich, and there was nothing not to love.

kenzie immediately went up and gave ashton a longing kiss, bringing him into her arms until everyone started making disgusting faces. "oh please," she scoffed, kissing him once more.

"we'll stop dragging you when you stop sucking faces in front of everyone, mkay?" said sophia birlem, who kenzie had never really gotten along with, but they had a love hate relationship.

her brother, joey, put a hand on her shoulder, "don't worry about her, she's just jealous she's single, right lil thing?"

she pushed his hand away with force and rolled her eyes. "last time i checked, you were single too, correct?"

"at least i'm not a little bitch about it, correct?"

"if y'all don't shut the fuck up-," devenity intervened, raising her eyebrows at the both of them. then, the first bell rung, and everyone scurried to their classes.

on her way to class, a muscular, handsome guy came up to her and tapped on her shoulder, asking for something, "hey, you know where...B182 is?"

he hesitated when she turned around, when her tan, attractive complexion blessed his eyes and he almost lost his balance.

"oh..hey, i'm going there. you new?"

he nodded, and his eyes scanned her body. "yea. transfer from canada. i'm johnny."

while staring at him, over time she realized how amazingly attractive he was, and she had to make sure she wasn't drooling while eyeing him.

"well, um...johnmy, you can follow me. it's nice to meet you," she greeted him, holding out her hand and starting to walk to show him the way, and the whole time they were walking he couldn't take his eyes off of her ," oh i'm kenzie by the way. i should probably tell you we have mrs. whittaker and she's a real bitch let me tell you-"

"are you single?"

she paused, and looked at him with a puzzled face. "excuse me?"

"sorry. i just had to ask, if you don't mind. you know, it's good to know other people around here, right?"

"oh, um..yeah, right. i'm dating ashton arbab, he's sweet, you might like him. if you see him around, tell him i said hi, will you?"

he nodded, and they kept walking to the class.

the day went by, and kenzie couldn't quite stop thinking about this johnny guy, even though she knew she shouldn't have. she had only met him once, and she was already thinking about him more than her own boyfriend.
