"You look really beautiful Jen," Jisoo says appearing from behind as she smiled at her through the mirror. Jennie smiles softly while smoothing out her wedding gown, but the smile didn't reach her eyes. She bites her lower lip feeling quite anxious,

"Is she here?" The brunette asks but instantly felt tears threatening to escape her eyes seeing the way Jisoo averted her eyes away from her petite figure,

"Oh," she breathes out as she places her hand on her chest as if it would remove the spreading pain that was beginning to surge through her body. She gulps down a sob and takes in a deep breath before forcing out a smile and nodding her head,

"I-I guess it's for the best right?" Jennie whispers as she brushes her fingers through her newly made curls that cascaded down her shoulders. Jisoo lets out a sigh before smiling sadly and walking over to her and turning her around. The raven haired girl places her hands on her shoulders and smiles in reassurance,

"She'll show up okay? Lisa would never miss her best friends special day," Jisoo says causing Jennie to smile softly and nod her head but that had only grew a feeling of disappointment inside Jisoo when she noticed the familiar glint in those feline eyes never appeared.

Well, it hasn't appeared since that day.

The day Lisa confessed.

And the day Lisa walked away.

It's been a month since Lisa called Jennie to meet her at their secret hide out place. A month since Lisa told Jennie everything she felt for her since they've known each other.

The moment I saw your smile for the very first time, I knew I loved you. Please, don't marry him Jen. Be with me. Love me.

Lisa, I-I can't. I'm sorry.

Some best friend I am, Jennie thought to herself as she remembered the pain in those big doe eyes. It has never left her thoughts. But the one memory that lingered was the sound of Lisa saying how much she loved her.

Why did it sound so perfect?

"Hey now, don't crease your eyebrows like that. You don't want to get wrinkles before you take your wedding pictures right?" Jisoo playfully asks while placing her hands on Jennie's cheek and smiling —somewhat— happy.

In all honesty, Jisoo had hoped— no— had wished Jennie would be getting married to a certain silver haired girl instead. She's watched them grow and she's seen the way they have looked at each other.

Their fate was predestined and one was too dense to see it. And her heart what breaking for the both of them.

"Okay, it's almost time. I'll meet you down the aisle okay?" She says while hugging Jennie tightly.

In a way, the raven haired girl was hoping Jennie would change her mind now but she could only hope. Jisoo pulls away and sends her a playfully wink before turning around and leaving the bride to be alone in her room.

Jennie lets out another breath while turning around and staring into her reflection. Scanning her beautiful white gown that hugged her perfectly should've felt like a dream. A beautiful dream really.

But, why did it feel like a nightmare?

"Now, I know for a fact that a bride to be is suppose to be smiling from ear to ear," a smooth, gentle voice spoke out from behind causing Jennie to immediately turn around and gasp in surprise.

The beautiful brunette was so engrossed into her own thoughts that she had failed to hear the door opening and a tall, slender figure stepping inside.
