Chapter 3

The next day I walk into work, a little hesitant after what happened with me and Derrick but today's another day, so I shall be prepared. Tonight i'm supposed to help Matt with preparing the engagement with Melanie. Hope she won't be jealous that Matt is going to meet me at my house. teehee.

"Well, Well, Well, look what the cat dragged in." Melanie says, chuckling behind the desk. "But finally you show up. Aiden will not stop yelling saying how you aren't here yet." She rolled her eyes.

"What are you talking about? This is the same time I normally come in." I said a little strict. "Well whatever, I'm just going to head up to Patient Hoffman's room and get this day over with."

I grab the clip board with his information on it and his medicine and head up.

"I'm actually quite excited to see him." I mumble "Wait what, Josephine don't say that! He basically sexual harassed you!" I yelled. Luckily, no one else was in the elevator.

The elevator had stopped and the doors open. I head out, a little shaky but excited.

Without any hesitation I knock on his door. "Mr.Hoffman? Are you ready for your daily checkup?"

He responded quickly. "Come on in, princess."

I blush a bit. My hand was on the door knob and I didn't even get the chance to turn it before someone pulled me by left arm and pinned to the wall.

"Aidan? What...the.hell?" I mumbled. He's grip on both of my wrists were so strong that I couldn't move and I drop the clipboard.

"Can you meet me at my house, tonight?" He says seriously

"Sorry, Aidan. I have to meet Matt for something later." I said

"You know he's dating Melanie right?" He says, in a know it all tone.

"No shit." I roll my eyes. "Can you let go of me and let me work please?"

"Fine." He finally lets me go and pick up the dropped clipboard and walk faster back to Derricks room. I put my hand back onto the door handle and pull it down, and enter into Derricks room.

"Finally! What took you so long, princess?" He says, displeased.

"Oh nothing. Before I came in here, my boss had to ask me a question but it's nothing you need to worry about."

"Alright." He shrugged. "Why don't you come over here, princess?"

"I'm not your little plaything for you to just fuck around! I'm just here for your daily checkup and head out of here! Trust me, I don't like it here anymore then you do." I rolled my eyes, wrote the information on the clipboard, gave him his medicine and started to head out.

"I know you were dreaming of me last night." He smirked. I stopped dead in my tracks and turn my head. A little pink showed up onto my cheeks.

"H-how did you- what are you talking about? I wasn't dreaming of you!" I shouted.

"HA! I won my bet! Now you need to uncuff me from my bed! He laughed.

"Okay, I remember you making a bet but you NEVER said anything about me uncuffing you! I yelled! You're a fucking psycho!"

"HEY!" He yelled, grabbing my wrist. "I have been called worse things in my life but no one and I mean absolutely no one will call me a fucking psycho! Hell, call me a pussy boy for all I care but you never call me a psycho ever again, got it? He scolded. He's grip tightened around my wrist, making a veins pop out and he wouldn't let me go until I answered.

"Y-yes, yes sir." I say

"Good." He smirks and lets me go. I stumble a bit but I managed to grab everything I got and head out of there.

I made back to my desk downstairs and begin working on some paperwork I need to finish.

"Hey." I hear Melanie's voice call out to me. "How was the checkup today?"

"It went great!" I lied. Knowing Derrick knew I was dreaming about him I would know for a fact he would know that the word would get spread around the Hospital an get really pissed.

"Well alright then, just checking up on you." She walks back to her desk.

"This is going to be a long week." I mumbled
