IMPORTANT: I SUGGEST YOU RE-READ THE LAST FEW LINES OF CHAPTER 4! I KIND OF CHANGED THE LAST PART. GREG IS NOW THE PERSON WHO CAME UP WITH THE DEAL.

A M Y

Days has passed, and I haven't seen Niall. I'm not complaining though. Taylor gave up looking for him the same day he started.

And when it comes to Jason; I haven't seen him in 4 days. Everyday I ask him if he wants to come over, he says that he's gonna hang out with his old friends.

Tahlia doesn't have time for me either. She's visiting Alex, like, everyday. So it's often just me and Darcy. Taylor visits sometimes, but not much.

I have to admit that I feel lonely. I feel like I have no one to talk to. Mum and Dad both work in a hospital, so they're often busy. Taylor plays football with his friends about everyday. Jason hangs out with his friends everyday and Tahlia is with Alex everyday. So you can say that I'm alone.

I have Darcy, but she isn't in that age where you can have a real conversation with her. Sometimes I just feel like I'm being ignored by everyone.

"Bye, Amy. I'm gonna visit Alex." Tahlia said as she put on her coat.

"Can't you just stay home for one night?" I asked her. "You're never home, and I feel like you're ignoring me."

"I wish I could, but Alex said he has a surprise for me." She replied. "I promise I'll stay home tomorrow."

"Fine.." I sighed. "I guess it'll just be me and Darcy again, then.."

"Why don't you just call Taylor?" She suggested.

"He's probably playing football with his little group of friends again." I said.

"It's raining, Amy." She said. "I doubt he's out playing football in this weather."

"I guess you're right." I said. "I'll call him later."

"I'm always right." She said and smiled. "But I have to go now. Bye, Amy."

"Bye, Tahlia." I said just as she closed the door. Darcy was taking a nap, so I just decided to go make myself some food. I headed to the kitchen and opened the refrigerator. Juice, ham and butter. That's it? Oh, and some cheese. I guess I have to go grocery shopping.

I pulled out my phone from my pocket and dialed Taylor's number. He picked up shortly after. "Hello?"

"Hi, Taylor. It's me, Amy." I started. "Can you babysit Darcy while I go grocery shopping?"

"Why don't just bring her?" He asked.

"I don't want her to get sick in this weather." I replied.

"Fine, I'll do it. I'll be over in five."

"Thanks, Taylor." I said and hung up. I sat down on the couch and watched the first minutes of the news before a knock on the door came. I quickly got off the couch and opened the door to see Taylor standing there.

"How long will you be gone?" He asked as he stepped inside.

"15 or 20 minutes maybe." I replied. "Why?"

"My friends are coming over in 30 minutes to play videogames, so you better do this fast." He said.

"Don't worry. I won't be late." I said and grabbed my wallet. I started putting on my shoes and coat as I said; "Darcy is upstairs taking a nap. You can go wake her if you want to."

"Okay." He replied.

"Bye." I said as I headed outside. I started walking towards the grocery store, since Tahlia used my car to visit Alex.

By the time I passed the park, my phone started buzzing in my pocket. I looked at the caller ID which showed Mum. I pressed the green button.

"Hi, Mum." I said.

"Hi, sweetie." She said in a sad tone. I could already tell she was crying.

"Mum, what's wrong?" I asked. She didn't repy. She just cried harder. "Mum, you're scaring me. Is everything alright?"

"It's about your Dad, Amy." She said. I suddenly stopped walking and just froze. I couldn't move and I couldn't talk. "We were driving back from work, and this car came out of nowhere."

"What are you trying to say, Mum?" I asked getting worried. I slowly started walking towards a bench in the park. Mum still hadn't said anything. "Mum? Are you there?" I asked as I sat down on the bench.

"I survived the car crash, but your dad.. He's dead." She said crying even harder. And with that, the tears came. All the good memories I've had with my my dad started running through my head.

*FLASHBACK*

"You ready?" Dad whispered to me. I nodded and had to hold my hands over my mouth so I wouldn't laugh. Dad walked closer to his bed, and then he threw the bucket of ice cold water on Jason.

"What the hell?!" Jason yelled as he sat up. Dad and I just laughed as we quickly ran downstairs and hid behind the couch.

"What did you guys do?" Mum asked as she came downtsairs while holding the newspaper.

"I'm gonna kill you guys!" Jason yelled while running past Mum and over to us. Dad and I quickly started running around while Jason chased us. He was still soaking wet and water was dripping from him.

"Jason, you go upstairs and dry yourself." Mum said and pointed upstairs.

"Fine." Jason huffed and headed upstairs.

"And Amy; good job." Mum said and high fived me.

"Tom, you're grounded for a week." She then told Dad. I started laughing at how she treated Dad like a kid.

"You can't do that! I'm a grown man!"

"Yes, I can." Mum said. "Now clean this up and then go to your room."

"But-"

"No but's." Mum said. "Now." She said and pointed upstairs. Dad headed upstairs while I just laughed at him. It's things like this it's impossible to forget.

*END OF FLASHBACK'

"You're kidding, right, Mum?" I asked while still crying.

"No, sweetie. I'm not kidding." She said.

"Does Jason and Taylor know?" I asked.

"No, they don't." She replied. "I'm gonna call Jason now, though.. And tell Taylor when he comes home."

"Yeah, okay." I said.

"Bye, sweetie."

"Bye, Mum." I said and hung up. I put my phone back in my pocket and started crying even more. I buried my face in my knees and let the tears fall.

How could this happen? Dad doesn't deserve to die. He's a good person, and he deserves to live longer. Dad was my role model. He was a funny man, but never went too far. He may have went far with that water bucket thing with Jason, but he only did it for fun. And it was funny for everyone else too.

"Amy?" That voice. "A-Are you okay?"
