I walked out of the classroom as quickly as I could. Jimin and Taehyung were chatting among themselves. They didn't notice me, and I'm almost sure Taehyung forgot I was there.

I walk down to the cafeteria, where our friend group sits daily. It's just Namjoon and I, so we chat while we wait for the others to arrive. "The new student is in yours and Taehyung's first period, right?" Namjoon asked nonchalantly. "Yeah, his name is Jimin. He and Tae seem to be getting along pretty well. He's pretty easy to spot, bright orange hair." I reply. "I don't want to be the judgy one, that's Yoongi's job, but the moment that pumpkin-head walked through that door, I haven't liked a thing about him." I sighed and looked up at Namjoon. He cocked an eyebrow. "It might've been a bad first impression, you know?" I shrugged. "Everyone's face lit up when they saw him, though. The girls' jaw dropped, the guys were jealous of the attention. The entire class, including Tae, liked him, but I honestly don't understand what's so admirable about him!" I sighed as I looked down, frustrated. Namjoon contemplated for a minute, before responding. "Are you jealous?" I look at him confusedly. "Hyung, you know I'm gay," I say relatively quietly. "No, Jungkook. Jealous because Taehyung is giving his attention to Jimin. Are you jealous?" Namjoon cracks a slight smile and wiggles his eyebrows. "What! Hyung, Tae and I are just friends I-... He probably doesn't even like guys! I've just never thought about liking him, he's... He's my best friend," I stammer. Namjoon looks at me with a deft look. "Alright. Well, talk to me if something like this happens again- oh hey Tae!" _________________________________________________________
Taehyung and Jimin show up with the others. The six of them sit down and begin talking. Jimin introduces himself to the group, and he seems generally liked by them.

"I'm Namjoon, and this is my boyfriend, Seokjin."

"I'm Yoongi, happy to meet you.""Nice to meet you, Jimin, I'm J-Hope-""JUNG HOSEOK FOR THE LAST TIME THAT IS YOUR SOUNDCLOUD RAPPER NAME I SWEAR TO FUCKING- sorry, that is Hoseok. I'm Seokjin." Jin glared at Hoseok one last time before sitting contently.

Everyone looked over to Jungkook, who hadn't said anything yet.

"Uhm... I'm Jungkook."Namjoon subtly frowns at Jungkook but keeps his cool. He can't think of another reason for Jungkook to be opposed to Jimin for no good reason. Jimin looks like a decent guy
