How It All Starts

                      Chapter 1.

Henrys pov.

Hey Im Henry, I work with Captain Man, or ray. My two bestfriends Charlotte and Jasper. And we cant forget Shwoz. I am Captain Mans sidekick Kid Danger! But, i have to keep my secret from my family. I hate lying to them, but i took an oath. Anyways heres my story!

~The ManCave~

"Hey kid! guess what?" My boss Ray says in his familiar exited tone. "Whats up?" i casually ask. "Your not going to believe this but... There is a huge dance going on in swellview!" Ray declares. 

"What do you mean *quote* huge dance? *quote*" i ask with a side of air quotes. "Basically A Huge Prom but for everyone!" He explains. "And i know who you want to ask" A smirking Ray says. 

Ray has been teasing me all year about liking Charlotte. Or he "Ships it". Its gotten so annoying sometimes i literally have to put duck tape over his mouth for him to be quite! But he is right in a  way... I do like Char, alot. I have tried to make her jealous by dating other girls. (Dont get me wrong the girls i dated were amazing and i did love them, but with Char, It feels like im in heaven)

The thing is Ray does not know i like Charlotte, if he did it would clearly be a huge disaster because he would definitely tell her straight away. So now i have two secrets, Kid danger and Charlotte. How can i keep them to myself, especially when i feel like i need to get them off my chest. Its so bad Im basically silently chocking on the secrets i hide from my family.

I just wanna tell Char how i feel... I need advice, STAT.

Ray's pov.

Henrys been acting strange lately, he has this little dreamy look in his eye. he cant even focus on his job. If this keeps going on, as much as i hate to say this, i will have to fire him. But I'll give him a chance and ask him whats up i guess.

"Hey hen, can we talk for a second?" I ask my Distracted sidekick. "huh? oh sure." he reply's. He hesitantly walks over. "What is it?" he asks. "its about you hen, you've been acting different. Like your distracted by somthing constantly." I tell him. I wonder whats on his mind.

Henrys Pov.

Oh man Ray's going to figure it out! i cant have him make fun of me for my crush! what if she finds out?

"Um..." i start. "Henry? whats wrong?" Ray asks for the final time. I cant keep this to myself any longer! "I have a crush on charlotte!" I spill the tea. He might tell Charlotte, what if he makes fun of me infront of her? What if Charlotte will hate me!! Will this ruin our friendship!?

Apparently Ray saw how worried i was and chose not to make fun of me. "Your secrets safe with me bud" he pats me on the back. "Thankyou Ray" I said relieved.  "But... You gotta tell her" Ray says smiling. "maybe.." i reply. Honestly, Im not so sure about this..

~Time Skip~   

After a long day of work, i finally arrive home. But with alot of stuff on my mind, mostly charlotte.  i guess i was too deep in my thoughts to know my mom was talking to me. 

"Henry! why arent you paying attention to me? i asked you a question" my mom said. "oh uh.. what was it?" i ask clueless "Henry i asked you if you want tater tots for dinner!" my mom said. "yup" i reply while running up the stairs. 

To my dismay piper bursts into my room. "What do you need" i ask. "Where. Is. My. Lipstick! I need it for the party im attending!" She says. She is literally full of rage. "Why would i know that!" i yell at her

"Ugh your the worst brother ever! you never do anything productive for anyone" she says. Its actually funny that she thinks that sense i've saved the world many times. I kinda wish she knew but then her little dreams and crush on me would be CRUSHED. That was a bad joke.

Later i heard a knock on my window, "Come in" i say without looking. "Hey Hen can we talk about somthing? Ray told me something that i totally dont agree with." Charlotte says

My face gets flushed, what does she need to talk about?
