Averly Place wasn't the nicest street on the block, in fact it was one of the worst for mugging and general low level street crime. This image was reinforced by the dingy run down homes and dirty, cheap motel at its end. Said motel was famous for its less than reputable occupants, peeling paint and cockroaches. It was also named an unoriginal name of Averly Motel.
While disgusting and dirty the motel had one good room which was the top floor suite which was actually cleaned and in good condition, though because of this it was extremely over priced. The suite also featured a private balcony which over looked the motel and the street.
Looking up at the balcony one would see bursts of smoke being blown irregularly over the side. Sitting in the shadows provided by the leaky roof was an individual that could only be described as a delinquent.
His red hair, while it could've been quite attractive, was shaggy and unkempt. His blue eyes reflected nothing as they stared dully down at the street, not bothered by the harsh lift shone in his eyes by a near by street light.
He had a small back of a leafy/plant matter commonly referred to as 'weed' along with cigarette papers and a few homemade filters, to this was a few pre-rolled joints.
As the current stick burnt out the individual reached out to grab another before lighting it, letting smoke, chemicals and effects of the drug start to fill his lungs once more.
This cycle continued on for hours, every time he ran out of pre-rolled he would just make more from his seemingly never ending supplies. Smoke continued to be blown from the balcony as the sky started to lighten, the sun slowly peeking over the horizon.
Soon it reached a point in the sky that made the red headed teen sigh and stand, pocketing a pack of pre-rolled and heading inside.
Moving over towards the queen sized bed he stripped before dressing in a school/university outfit with Kuoh Academy embroidered on the jacket pocket.
Now dressed the teen walked out of the suite without bothering to lock it, there was nothing of value in there anyway. He lit another stick as he headed through the trash covered hallways and out of the motel, beginning a slow, unhurried pace towards his destination.
Ten minutes into his walk he came into contact with other teens dressed in the same and different school outfits. Seeing him they all moved out of the way, not wanting to be closer than five meters to him, though he wasn't bothered as the crowds parted like water. At least he wasn't going to be late.
Five minutes more and he reached a large school campus, Kuoh Academy. Once he stepped through the schools gates the dynamic changed, no longer did people move out of his way but now ignore him. Avoid him like the plague.
Heading through the school he ignored the whispers and cruel remarks made about him, not caring what the common rabble thought of him. Reaching his home room he entered into the room and more whispers but once more ignored it all, instead slumping into his seat at the back and looking out of the window.
Soon enough the teacher entered the class room and greeted the class, her eyes taking a neutral look as she stared at the teen. Even when she called his name last on the roll call she still looked as if she didn't care for his presence.
"Naruto Gremory" Came the crisp call from the teacher.
Naruto didn't even bother to turn from the window let alone reply, he was here and they knew it. With doll call done the teacher wished them a good day before heading off to her first class, the students following suit until it was just Naruto left in the room.
Releasing a sigh he dragged himself to his feet and used them to leave the classroom and head down towards the old school building where his sister ran a club to disguise the activities of her peerage.
