The nightmare started out like any other dream I had had (#notTypo) in this closet. I was free of the closet, usually I had been found by my best friend, or my little bro, and I was just wandering the halls looking for them, when suddenly "David" grabs me out of nowhere, pushing me back into the closet, smiling with a grin much to wide for his face. When I asked what he was doing, he just laughed maniacally, stepping aside showing everyone I knew closely, My little brother, my best friend and my creator, or as I called him, my dad.

I was so relieved to see them until they started jeering at me, saying that they were glad to be rid of me and I deserved to be in that closet, because I had done something horrible. When ever I asked what that horrible thing was, they didn't even reply, they just kept going.

Then, my best friend came up to me, got right up in my face and said "How could I ever be friends with a stupid robot that can't even sing!"

That statement cut me deeply, deeper than any knife could. My entire existence was to entertain, make music and, most importantly, sing! I was nothing without music. I started crying, they just laughed and slammed the closet door. That's what woke me.

I had curled up into a ball, well as best I could be with my legs stuck, sobbing. T and O appeared and sat next to me, in my mind, comforting me.

"M.I, W-what's wrong? Y-you can tell u-us anything," T whispered to me, rubbing my back.

"Yeah, you can tell us. Now please tell us what's wrong and we'll help fight it off!" O exclaimed, punching invisible attackers away.

"I-I had a n-nightmare. It w-was horrible. My b-brother a-and my best friend helped p-push me i-into the c-closet a-and I... He s-said 'How could I ever be friends with a stupid robot that can't even sing' t-then he-he..." I started sobbing really hard.

"Shhh, It's okay. E-everything is fine," T comforted me, giving me a big hug.

"Yeah. Everything is alright it was just a dream," O said joining the hug.

"T-thanks guys. What would I do with out you two," I said.

"Not have the amazingly, awesome O in your life!" O exclaimed exuberantly.

T and I laughed at O's antics. We talked and laughed, until I asked about themselves. They started telling me about how there is a society of Mind-People, a race the live within Mentaletea, and they are chosen to go help and protect the people of our world, unfortunately the only one that can see them are the ones in need, so everyone thinks they're nuts. They usually help those who have had some physical or emotional trauma. I've had both. If you don't know, read the- (A.N) Nope! Don't! I don't wanna fix the fourth wall again!) Fineeee.

They also said that most only got one extra Mind-person, if they get one at all, but I got two and some get three. Incredibly interesting, I thought in my mind, in my mind (#notTypo). They also told me that when a Mind-person enters the mind of someone with a Mind-person already inhabiting it, they take on the appearance, or similar to the appearance, of the Mind-person already there, which is also what the actual person looks like. After they finished explaining how they got chosen by the Min-lottery to come to me and help, I looked up at the "sky" and looked at the clock and calendar that hovered in it. Following my gaze O and T checked the time.

"I-I guess it's time to take our leave." T said, turning to leave.

"No! Wait! Please stay! I-I don't wanna have to battle these nightmares alone!" I begged.

"Of course we'll stay with you, M.I! You're our friend! We'll help ya battle these deranged, mutant, killer, monster, nightmare goons (If you get this reference you get a cookie!)!" O said, holding up her fists in a fighting position.

"A-alright then," T pulls O down to sit next to me, "Your job is t-to fall asleep and w-we'll enter your dream a-and help you lucid dream."

"What does that mean?" O asks, oblivious to the word, I mentally facepalmed. You'd think that if your job was to know about the works of the mind, you'd at least know what lucid dreaming was.

T sighed audibly, she then explained that lucid dreaming is when a person, or robot in my case, realizes that they are dreaming and takes control of said dream. She then adds, "W-weren't you listening in class?"

"Oh, how I wish I had come that day!" O groaned.

"Or any other day..." T muttered under her breath, so quiet only I could hear it.

"Uh, guys can we get back to the task at hand?" I asked.

They looked at each other and sigh, then sit next to me.

I laid down and closed my eyes, wait for a minute, then opened them to T and O staring down on me.

"It's kinda hard to fall asleep when your best friends are staring at you," I said, half smiling.

"Aw! She called us her best friends!" O exclaimed, while T apologized and walked off, pulling O along too.

I laid down again, laughed a bit, and was enveloped by sleep.

The nightmare began as before but T and O were with me, floating along next to me. When "David" tried to grab me, emphasis on tried, O kicked him in the face and T told me that it was a dream and I could do anything. So I let my imagination run wild!

When I woke, I wanted to go to sleep again, but I couldn't for I realized that, I was in my mind. I could create any thing, do anything! So I imagined my legs free of rust and well oiled, I imagined my room before "The Closet" and added some improvements. Made some rooms for O and T, put up a lot of posters, upgraded the computer in my room which, surprisingly, I got actual Internet on not made up Internet, actual Internet!

That night I slept peacefully with no dreams, and after the first nightmare I had more, but most of the time T and O helped fight them off. Occasionally, they would not be there and, if you listened closely at the closet door you would hear faint crying. This went on for 9 more years, not that I'm complaining, before I was found.

(A.N) Alrighty then... well I best not keep you waiting.

Stay Awesome, Bye! =3
