Chapter one: Foster?

(I was originally going to post this with a picture of my characters but things change so here's a picture of my dog with a blanket over his eyes)

Nobody's POV

It has been six years since the incident and the girls are now in their second year of middle school. The girls had finished up the day and were heading home together since they all lived near each other. The girls went to seashell bay middle school and were always being bombarded with questions about their parents. The girls were heading home talking about different things.

"You think I could be a fashion designer?" Legacy asked.

"Totally! Auntie Marmo said you could." Kira said.

"Yay!" Legacy cheered.

'Help...me...' a faint voice said.

Kira looked around curiously. Stopping in her tracks and looked around. Her friends stopped and looked at her curiously.

"What's wrong?" Melody asked.

'Help....please...' the voice said again.

Kira walked back to the school gate but there was no voice. She walked back to her friends and heard the voice again. She started walking hearing the voice get louder. She started running until she ran past the source of the voice. She then backed up and starred into the alleyway as her friends caught up to her. Kira then picked up the box in front of her revealing a dog. It was terribly injured and Kira lightly picked him up.

"What's your name?" Kira whispered as Legacy called Clara.

'...Fos...ter...' the voice whispered before the dog passed out.

Kira faced Legacy as she hung up her phone.

"Auntie Clara said there is a vet hospital near us. Let's go!" Legacy told her friends as they ran to the vet hospital.

-time skip-

"He's going to be fine. He was just skin hurt. We couldn't find any collar or microchip so we think he's a stray." The vet said as the girls walked with him.

"So he is free for the taking?" Melody asked.

"Yes." The vet said.

"So who will own him?" Melody asked.

"Kira duh!" Legacy said.

"Wha?" Kira asked.

"Yeah you were the one to find him." Melody said.

"Oh...okay." Kira said.

"What's his name then?" The vet asked.

"Hm...what about Foster?" Kira said.

"Sounds good!" Both Legacy and Melody said.

"Alright then. You can keep him. Just sign here please." The vet said.

"You just giving him to me?" Kira asked.

"Well Miss Clara said if he doesn't belong to anyone we can give him to one of you." The vet said.

"Oh okay." Kira said and signed the paper.

They walked in to see Foster sitting there.

"Hey Foster." Kira said and picked him up.

'Hello! Thank you for helping me! But where am I going to stay?' Foster asked.

"You will be staying with me buddy." Kira said.

'Oh...thank you so much!' Foster said.

"Come on girls let's go home." Kira said as they walked out after thanking the vet.
