When i wake up, the sounds of both Danielle and Cara's snoring echoing throughout the room. I slowly lift my head from the table and scope the room.
The bottle of wine was now finished and our glasses were tipped over, spilling red liquid onto the table. I raised my head slowly, making sure I didn't get too dizzy.
Cara was still passed out on the couch just as I remembered her.
Danielle rested her head on the table, her brown curly hair covering her face. Beside her was her white iPhone, that had one new text message. Being the nosy friend I was, I decided to sneak a peek.
'Hey dani :) r u and your gurl still coming to the fitting? the place is ready when u need it :) thx love Xx'
It came from Danielle's friend, Chelsea, who worked at a wedding dress shop. Only then it crossed my mind that I had a fitting for my wedding dress.
"Dani! Cara! Wake up! We're late for the fitting!" I found myself scream. I had awoken the two sleeping beauties, who both shot me threatening looks.
"What? Can't we have five more minutes? My head is killing me love." Cara said, stuffing her face into the pillow.
"No! You can't! Chelsea is waiting for us!" I answered, scrambling to make myself look presentable. I ran to my washroom and found my brush. I combed through my hair quickly, and pulled it up into a bun. Looking into the mirror, my mascara had run, there was handprints on my face, and I quickly scented my horrible morning breath. I was a mess.
"Erm, El, that text was from last night you twit. We still have two hours." grunted Danielle from the living room. I felt embarassed, knowing I had just ran around the house like a maniac.

~2 hours later~
Eleanor and her two other bridesmaids, Cara and Danielle sat with her in Nando's before her fitting.
"So, Eleanor. Is the that sister from hell coming to the fitting?" Cara questioned, taking a bite from her chicken dish. Cara, along with Danielle and Eleanor, disliked Marcus' snotty sister, Jade. From her provactitive buissness attire to her abnoxious attitude, she gave them a lot to be annoyed with.
"Yes." I quickly stated. Cara huffed and rolled her eyes. "Great." she mumbled.
"Oh no. El, if Cara gets out of hand we have to be ready to hold her back." Dani teased, nudging at her. Cara gave her a death stare, continuing on until she took another bite.
A buzz came from my bag as I felt the chair vibrate. I pushed through the contents of my purse, finally discovering a new text from my phone. It was a message from Marcus, reminding me once more about the details about the flowers.
"Hey babe remember the flowers. My mum wants roses so be SURE to put that it in."
That one text alone drove me nuts.I felt like one of his assistants. Somehow, he treated me more like a PA than his wife-to-be. Even though he was a sucsessful business man, he could at least loosen up around me. Plus, he cared more about his mum's needs more than mine.
"Oh gosh we need to get going. Fitting is in an hour and we'll have to leave soon if we want to make it on time." Danielle pointed out, raising her hand out. "Check please?"
She catches the waiter's attention, and he comes over with a black book in his hand. Danielle takes it in her hand and places a blue card into it.
We gather our belongings and the waiter returns Danielle's card. We follow Cara out of the restaurant and she clicks open her car.
"So, what dresses are we going to be trying on?" Cara inquires, after swiftly turning onto the main road.
"I don't even know. Marcus put all of the suggestions in." I reply, fiddling with the seam of my jumper.
"Marcus? Why not you?" I felt Danielle's stare on me as we pulled into a small road. They knew that Marcus wanted this wedding to be perfect. That he wanted to take control.
"Because, I couldn't decide." I lied, continuing to play with stiching on my jumper. Cara sounded unimpressed, telling by the sound she made. Danielle fell back onto her seat, and laughed.
"We're here. And seems that wicked sister from the west is too."

"Danielle! So nice to see you!" The woman at the front desk said, pushing out of her chair and welcoming her into a hug.
"Chelsea, hi! Is Jade here?" Danielle said with a fake smile.
"Yep. I sent her into that room there. Make yourselves comfy and I'll send in the dresses." Chelsea responded, guiding us into a room that was inclosed by a cream curtain.
Inside was a massive glass chandelier that hung in the middle of the room. There were mannequins with beautiful white gowns lining the walls. A single table was set in the middle of a couch and two chairs. On one of the chairs sat Jade, who was in a black bralet, a high waisted blue skirt, and a black blazer. She looked stunning with her blonde hair straightened and flowing down her back.
"There's the almost sister in law! Who's also late!" She exclaimed, beaming me a smile.
I could Cara puff behind me. "We're not late. We're on time."
"Yes but on time is late. Early is on time." Jade responded quickly, placing her hands on her hips. "This is what you learn in business. But I like to share my wisdom."
I look back at Cara who looks as if she's about to burst. Things like this agitate her and we've seen the worst of it.
"What wisdom?" Cara mumbles under her breath but loud enough for us to hear. Jade shoots her a death stare but I intervene before it gets any worse.
"Sorry about her Jade. Take a seat and we'll all wait for the dresses. Ok?"
They follow my orders and we all await for the gowns to arrive. Its a surprise for all of us, knowing that Marcus had chosen all of the gowns.
Chelsea, along with another woman, arrives with four gowns. I'm asked to try them all on. After simultaneously walking back and forth out of the change-room, we finally agree on a sweet-heart neck lined white gown. It supposedly, "showed off my figure" and "made my butt look good".
To be honest, trying on dresses seemed so much happier in movies. So much more, exciting. Now, it seemed like it was another day at Topshop.
"Alright girls. I need to go meet my boyfriend. And by the way Eleanor. That dress, looks stunning." She said as she pulled her trench coat over her shoulders. "Kisses!"
I heard a buzz from my phone again, and I scrambled to answer it. Ever since I saw Louis, I always think that he's the one texting me. I get giddy and excited whenever i hear my phone. But disappointment is all I feel when its from Marcus, asking about the details of the wedding.
I don't get it though. I'm supposed to love Marcus right? He is going to be my husband soon. But I just feel, happier when I'm with Louis. Maybe some feelings never really go away....
