Treasure (3 months later)
"Stacey can you go restock the eyeshadows?" I said to an employee as I swept the floor
She nodded and went to the back to get a box. Today I'm at work like usual it's almost 4:00 so two more hours until it's time to close because it's Sunday . After I was finished sweeping I went to my office and checked my phone and it was a text message from August. Sadly he went to New York for an performance but he said he was gonna come see me when he leaves there. He been here more then he's been in Atlanta. Im not bothered by it though. I end up FaceTiming him since he said he was in his hotel room.
"Wassup baby." He said after the call connected
"Hey, how are you?" I asked smiling
"I'm good ma, how about you?" He said back
"I'm fine,I miss you tho." I said making a sad face
"I only been gon for 2 days." He said chuckling
"I know that but yo ass got me too use to you being in my bed that I can't sleep easily." I said
"Oh how cute you can't sleep without me I feel special ." He said making me laugh
"Don't make jokes outta that it's not funny." I said as I stopped laughing
He chuckled "You'll be okay, Imma be back by the time you wake up in the morning." He said trying to make me feel better
"You better." I said as Keyana walked into my office
"Ew get off the phone." She said seeing that I was talking to August
"Shut up." August said
I laughed at the both of them because they always arguing.
"Anyway I have to go." I said to August
"Ite I love you." He said making me smile
"I love you too." I said before hanging up
"Bitch why y'all ain't together yet,y'all gettin on my nerves." Keyana said
"We not together yet because he hasn't asked yet?"I said
"Girl if you don't tell that man you ready to be wit him and get over it." She said finally sitting down
"No, he will do it when he ready to." I said
"Yo dumbass know damn well he ready to,he been ready,this is all on you at this point,are you ready is the real question."
"...you right."
"I know I'm right" she said laughing
I rolled my eyes and started going through paper and scrolling threw my emails while Keyana put her bags and stuff behind me desk like she always does because she apparently doesn't trust keeping her stuff in the break room I think she just wants a excuse to keep bothering me. Anyways she went out to the front while I stayed at my desk.
Later on....
I went to pick up Lyla from my Mothers house. Avery is staying other there for the week because my mom missed her. I really need to find her a man so she won't be lonely. Anyway I finally got home. I did the usual get Lyla bathed and I took a shower myself.
"What do you want to eat?" I asked her as I rinsed the shampoo out her hair
"Ummm." She said with a thinking face "Can we eat spaghetti." She said excitedly
"Of course." I said laughing as I drained the water out the bath tub and wrapped her in a towel and went into her room
I dried her off and put her in her Pjs. I picked her up and grabbed her IPad and headed down to the kitchen and put her in the chair and handed her the IPad and she started playing games as usual while I began cooking.
"Auntie TT?" She said while I was turning on the stove
"Yeah mama?" I said pulling out the stuff that I needed
"When are we gonna put up the Christmas tree?" She said causing me to turn around I completely slipped my mind that Christmas is almost a week away.
"How about tomorrow?" I said as she got happy
"Okay!" She said smiling and went back to her Ipad
I continued to cook and once I finished i pulled out a plate for me and one of Lyla's plates with princess on it.
"Lyla you want to watch a movie while we eat?" I asked as I made our plates
"Yeah,can we watch the Grinch?" She said turning her IPad off
I nodded and finished the plates and went into down to the Basement/Theater room and went to Netflix and started up the movie and we both went down and ate our food and enjoyed the movie.
12:00 am
I woke up to Lyla still up well half sleep but still her eyes barely open watching Chicken little. I don't know how I feel asleep but some how I did. I knew in just a few seconds she was going to be asleep so I waited until she was completely asleep then I turned off the screen and picked her up and carried her up to my room with me and laid her down and I got in the bed and went to sleep.
-The Next day
I already sent Lyla off to school with my mother and have been sitting in the Living room flipping through channels for some hours now until I heard my front door open and close making me sit up. I heard foot step and August was walking towards me and I sat back in the position I was in.
"You not happy to see me?" He said
"You said when I woke up." I said looking at the TV
" That won't meant to be literal." He said
"Well."
" You for real mad right now." He said
"Why would you think I'm mad." I said still looking at the TV
"Cause you not looking at me." He said sitting next to me while I continued to look at the TV
August put his hand around my chin and turned my head so I would be looking at him and leaned in and kissed me making sure his tongue was down my throat which caused me to make a small moan.
"Chill the fuck out wit that shit." He said after he pulled away "You gonna act like you happy to see me now?" He said raising a eyebrow
I sat up and hugged him and smiled cause I couldn't even attempt to still be mad at this point.
Later on Lyla came home from school and Me,Her and August put up the Christmas tree like she wanted and enjoyed the rest of the night.
