Today was lost, for the blonde had slept away this summer day alone on his couch. The AC was on but he could still feel the clamminess on his skin. He actually chose to wear shorts and an oversized t-shirt he had 'borrowed' from Caspian. It smelled just like him too, the scent of cologne, hair gel, gunpowder, and roses. Those were the familiar scents the highwayman had grown fond of over the span of a few months.

Lucien sighed, laying on the couch with the comfortable summer wear. His hair had been tied back slightly to avoid the heat, and since his hair was just long enough to be tied up. The T.V served as background noise for the frenchie's boredom, he personally found nothing interesting on the odd device either. He only watched what the redhead watched, and that was mainly drama shows and repetitive play overs of a film called 'Mean Girls', which was immensely stupid to him.

Lucien glanced over at the table next to him and noticed a small pink envelope that was foreign to it, along with a rose. Lucien knew who it was from as soon as he saw the signature flower. He reached over to grab the envelope and carefully open it. He reached into it to pull out a piece of paper with inked words onto it. Beautiful cursive and strokes of handwriting he could put a face too.

"Dear Pumpkin,

I have left you another letter once again as a gentle reminder for when you wake up to go fix yourself up. We should go out for dinner later tonight? How about the fancy restaurant we both like? I'm sorry I couldn't ask you in person, but a thief's gotta stay busy~ I'm sure you'll be up for it though, Pumpkin. I'll be back at around nine PM. Love you, sweetheart~

                From yours truly,

The Phantom Thief and Your Love~"

The frenchman smiled a bit at the stupidly lovely letter his boyfriend had left for him. He rubbed his forehead as his face heated up and he felt butterflies in his chest and stomach. How extra, he could have just told him before he was asleep. Lucien sighed deeply before the door opened, since Caspian had the keys to his house.

The man stepped in and poked his head through the door first, before fully coming in a locking the door behind him. Once he saw Lucien awake with letter in hand, the master thief simply had a grin plastered on his face. He walked over to sit next to his lover, wrap an arm around him, and kiss him on the forehead gently.

"Mmn, you're just reading that right now, huh?"

Caspian averted his emerald gaze a bit while his face heated up slightly. He always tried to maintain his image around Lucien but he was so weak for him to the point he was just a lovesick idiot. Lucien was flustered as well, looking away.

"Yeah, I just woke up... I sleep alot in the heat."

Lucien admitted as he fanned himself. They were still stupid fumbling dumbasses for each other too. So sappy to the point you'd want to vomit. Caspian simply smiled sweetly before brushing the loose strands of hair away from his face.

"Well, how about we get you ready, you do want dinner, right?"

Lucien nodded, his gaze shying off before he got up and sighed. He looked at himself briefly before huffing.

"It's gonna take a bit to get ready though, I look like shit."

"Hush, I'll help you brush your hair while you wash your face, okay?"

Lucien nodded quietly, before untying his hair, which was all tangled up. He had alot of fixing up to do, but midnight dinner sounded fun. Caspian examined him first before saying one last thing before they headed to go tidy up.

"Oh also, take my shirt off. You're not stealing another one of my shirts, you tiny bastard."
