Andrew chuckled to himself. His insides were churning at the thought.

I have to sit next to Garrett for 5 hours.

His face got hot. His palms started sweating as Garrett passed by him to get the window seat. Andrew wasn't going to complain because if there was anything he liked to see it was Garrett being happy. Something about it just made the day 10x better.

Garrett plopped down in his chair and Andrew proceeded to sit down next to him. Instinctively Andrew put his arm down on the armrest, which he was unaware already had a resident until he and Garrett were practically holding hands. Andrew pulled his arm away quickly.

"Oh uh I'm sorry Garrett you can have it."

"No Andrew please you can have it. I already got the window seat." Garrett pleaded while he gestured to the now empty armrest.

"Oh uh okay." Andrew called out quietly, not wanting to feel more intrusive than he already felt.

And with that Jeffree poked his head up from the seat in front of them.

"Aw look at you two arguing over the armrest. Ugh, cuuuutteeee." He held it out causing Shane to laugh. He carried on for quite a bit before dismissing himself with a hand wave whilst covering his mouth.

Jeffree's comment caused Andrew to shift in his seat. Something about it made him feel uncomfortable, like something he was trying to hide just got torn out from underneath him. Unfortunately for Andrew, Garrett noticed.

"Andrew you alright?" Garrett called out in a soft tone now aware of others that may be listening.

"Yeah it's just that, uh, takeoff always gives me a little bit of anxiety." Garrett paused and looked at Andrew in a way he knew that Garrett was debating something. Andrew's heavy shaky breathing made Garrett want to comfort him, knowing how bad Andrew's anxiety could get. Garrett took a peek around at everyone else and saw that nobody was looking as them, and it was then that Garrett grabbed Andrew's hand and held it.

Andrew's face got hot. It practically felt like he was running a fever. Garrett's hand just fit so perfectly into his that it almost scarred him. It felt so nice, but Andrew couldn't enjoy it for long because he didn't lie earlier when he said that takeoffs give him anxiety.

He squeezed it a little more as the plane got faster during takeoff, and he felt Garrett respond to it by holding his hand tighter.

A wave of calmness just washed over Andrew as he held a man's hand who was looking out the window, but knew all of his needs without even needing to look at him. It was all so surreal. Andrew looked around with just his eyes, as he knew too much head movement would cause people to look over.

To Andrew's dismay, out of the corner of his eye he saw Shane watching the whole debacle go down. Andrew slowly looked back to the chair in front of him and released Garrett's hand from his ever tightening grip. His hand felt cold and lonely. He could tell that Garrett was longing for the moments they were holding each other merely seconds beforehand. Garrett's hand reached for the bare air, pining for the warmth Andrew's hand once provided.

Andrew knew that this wasn't what he wanted. Something deep inside him wanted to hold Garrett's hand for the rest of the flight, but for safety and reassurance in himself, Andrew opted to let go. He felt himself sigh and Garrett heard it and slumped over a bit. Andrew wanted to look at him but instead pulled out his phone and distracted himself by scrolling through Twitter aimlessly.

The rest of the flight went smoothly. Andrew and Garrett got over themselves and were acting normally by the time the camera was pulled out to film a bit of their trip. It was when they got off the plane that Shane pulled Andrew aside into the bathroom with him.
