Amy X King

It has been almost a year since Amy had tranfered into Kyoryu High and met King. She's met alot of friends but it was almost time to say goodbye to them as the grade 12's will be all around the country in different cities maybe even around the world. There was a lot of things that needed to be done. At this time, after the exams, the students would go and confess to their crushes or else they would lose their chances. That was one of the things Amy wanted to do before she leaves school. Who's the lucky boy? You asked. Well, the most popular boy in school with the highest scores and the most talented boy in school. How did she fall for him? Who wouldn't fall for him? However, its not because he's the smartest and the most popular boy in school but, because he was her childhood best friend. She also sits next to him in class and she gets help from him whenever she struggles. Just two more days until they get seperated. King will be flying to Australia and get his education and training to be a photographer. She was just waiting until the end of the day so she can tell him her feelings. As the bell rings, she and king stood up and packed up their things.

"King, I'm going to buy a drink in the cafetiria, can you wait for me?" Amy asked.

"Yeah, I'm going to buy a snack to eat too." King said as he gave her another smile. They walked out of the class and downstairs. As Amy chosed a strawberry milk box, and waited in line to get to the cashier, King was dragged outside by a girl- wait. Scratch that, many girls as they gave him presents and confessed to him.

"Girls, I thank you for your presents and feelings but, I'll have to decline all. I already have someone I like." Daigo said as he scratch the back of his head. They all gapsed as some cried and some cursed. Meeko was shock as Yayoi ran to the washroom.

"King? What happened." Amy said lookingat king.

"Nothing. Amy come here." King said as he took Amy's hand and dragged her out in front their school.

"AMY!" King shouted. This took everyone's attention as they gathered around.

"King?" Amy said in a confusing tone.

"I know, saying this would make the school hate you, I know saying this could make you feel uncomfortable but-" King said as he looked up to see what reaction Amy has before he says the last few sentence. Amy was smiling at him, a smile he only receives.

"I like you." He finished. The crowd gasp as some girls bursted out in tears. Some guys cheered and whitsled. He studied Amy's facial expression. It was mixed a mixed emotion. It was a mix of Joy and sadness.

"When...?" Was all Amy managed to utter.

"Grade 9." King answered looking down.

"Lets, get out of school first." Amy said as she walked away.

"Yeah, I'll get my bike." King answered in a worrying tone. Once they were outside, Amy got on King's bike as he biked to a river near them. There wasn't alot of people either so they could talk in private.

"Alright, lets do this again." King said as he held Amy's hand.

"I know I only have two more days in this country. I know I only have 48 hours left to spend with you. I know, that you'll be hurt if I tell you this. But I like you. I've had a feeling for you since we were in grade 6 but I denied. In grade 9, I knew that I needed to tell you. I knew that my time left with you will be limited. But, I was too scared to tell you. In grade 10, I moved away from our school, I had a chance to tell you when I was leaving. In grade 11 you transfered here and I knew that I had to tell you these feelings that has been building up inside of my chest. But I didn't. At the start of grade 12, our final year, I told myself that I would confess, but I still didn't. This is the only chance that I have left. And I'm not backing down nor am I going to a coward and hide it away." King said as he letted Amy's hand go and held her shoulders.

"Listen carefully, Amy." King said as he looked straight into Amy's eyes. Amy nodded and gave King the same look.

"I like you. From when we first met, until now. There hasn't been a second where I'd stopped thinking about you. I like you Amy, and I will always have my feelings for you. So? What do you say?" King asked as he squeezed her shoulders harder.

"You idiot. You big idiot. Why? Why did you wait until now to say it? You big idiot!" Amy said as she shook her head.

"What do you think I'll say, you big idiot?" Amy smiled and hugged King.

"Yeah, I am. But I'm your idiot." King smiled as he kissed her ear.

"Lets go, I'm spending my last 48 hours here with you. Inlcuding at night." King smirked as he dragged Amy on his bike.

"Wha- King!?" Amy blushed.

"There's a night amusment park here, you're not sleeping for two days!" King laughed as he sped up ahead.

"Better hold on tight, Amy! You won't get this feeling for along time!" King shouted.

"Yeah." Amy blushed as she hugged King's waist. This made both of them blush.

"I LOVE YOU, AMY!" King shouted even louder. Water started to drop on Amy's face as she saw King wipe his eyes.

"King, are you crying?" Amy asked as she tapped on King's shoulder.

"What? No!" King sniffed.

"King-" Before she got to say anything, King stopped in a cherry blossom field.

"This is one of the spots that I normally visit when I'm lonely. This is properly my most favorite spot." King said, not facing Amy.

"King?" Amy asked.

"Huh? What is it Amy-" Before he knew it, Amy was hugging his head. His curly black hair in her face as she sniffed hi scent.

"You still have 48 hours here. No need to be sad. 48 hours isn't going to stop our relationship." Amy whispered into King's ear.

"I really like you, Amy." King said as he rose up and kissed Amy's forehead.

"Lets just stay here for a little." King said as he held Amy's hand.

"Yeah, just for a little." Amy answered. That whole afternoon, they spent their time walking in the streets with chery blossoms, falling to the ground.

As summer comes, school ends. As school ends, people walk on their own paths, have their own dreams and their own opinions.
