"Don't give me that shit! I may not know but I sure as hell am ready to confess!"

"Then why aren't you doing it!?"
"Because-"

"Because you're not ready! You're not ready and I'm not either! How is that hard to understand? I thought I was but once she confessed I realized I wasn't ready an I might never be..."

Your words echoed in Bakugou's head. He thought he was ready, but once you said that he wasn't ready, he realized that he really wasn't ready.

How was he supposed to speak his feelings? How do you exactly express feelings, especially to the one you like?

He didn't know how long he was lost in his thoughts but he soon heard a knock at his door.

Wondering who the fuck it was, Bakugou got up to open the door.

It was Kirishima. The one that is always in Bakugou's mind. The one he was thinking of.

"Hey, dude. I just wanted to check on you, cause you know, you looked upset about [y/n] and Mina."

"Huh? I wasn't upset over those two losers." Bakugou tried lying to the red heads face but there was no use to it.

"Katsuki, don't lie. I saw how you looked at them with sadness. Nobody else noticed except me, so you don't have to worry about others knowing your... soft side." The red head looked at the blonde. Katsuki wasn't looking into his eyes, he was looking at his head.

"Could you please let your natural colour grow?"

A smile begin to form on Eijrou's face. "You know I can't dude. I like it this way. It makes me feel confident." He said while laying on Bakugou's bed. "Yeah, well whatever. I like it when your natural hair shows."

Pink dusted both boys face.

"Y-you do?"

"Yeah..."

Silence filled the room and it was getting tense. "So... when do you think Mina and [y/n] will make up and get together?" Katsuki leaned back on his bean bag chair and hummed in response. "I hope soon. Seeing them apart is weird and it makes me uncomfortable." The red head let out a chuckle. "Yeah, I hope so too. It makes me sad that they're not being their normal selves."

Katsuki was growing anxious. Did he want to confess now or another time?

"H-hey, Eijrou." Fuck, he stuttered. Turning away from making eye contact with Kirishima, Bakugou continued on what he was saying even if he was stuttering.

"Yeah? What is it, Katsuki?"

Taking a deep breath, the ash blonde looked at Eijrou and said what he always wanted to say their first year of high school. "Eijrou, I don't know how else to tell you this or word it some other way but..." He needed to stop for a second to regain his breath.

"I.. I love you."

"I love you, too."

Looking at Eijrou with widen eyes, Bakugou froze in place as he saw the red head show a teethy smile. "You do?" He asks after being frozen for a minute or two. "Yes, I really do. I've loved you for the longest time. Since our first year together."

Holding Katsuki's rough hands, he leans in and gives him a kiss on the cheek. Red started spreading across Katsuki's face. He didn't know what to do.

"Haha! This is the first time I've seen you look so red and the first time you've gone speechless."

"Shut it, shitty brain. Anyways, will you go out with me?"

Now it was Eijrou's turn to become red and speechless. He really didn't expect that question, even though he has been waiting for him to ask him that question.

A laugh left Katsuki's and Eijrou could only look down flustered and fidget with his fingers.

"Yes.."

"Huh?"

"Yes I will go out with you."

"I'm glad." The red head looked up again and saw that his now boyfriend was looking at him with a smile that just made him melt.

Without any warning, Katsuki had pinned Eijrou down on the floor on accident. He was just trying to give him a kiss but I guess he used to much force while leaning in.

"Kiss me again, Katsuki. I'll so no homo if you want me to."

"We're dating you idiot"

WHATS UP FUCKERS

its been two months since i last update and i am sorry please forgive me ive just been procrastinating im sorry if this chapter seemed short its 12:31am and ive changed my sleep schedule so im more tired than usual and i also ran out of inspiration
anyways 'im soft' only has two chapters left !!
i want to finish this story before october 20, aka 'im soft's 1 year anniversary !!
so i'll try to finish it as quickly as possible !!

also im going to make a kimetsu no yaiba fanfic soon !!
