Narcolepsy is not an excuse so stop invading personal lives;

Another night, another shift, another interesting thing no one will ever believe me if I tell them. “Shift’s all yours...You act like this is the highlight of your day.”

“It is.”

“That’s sad.” Fritz didn’t even try to make an effort to talk to Izzy tonight, he was becoming more and more aware that Izzy wasn’t afraid of the attraction like he and warned her to be. Izzy entered the building and was welcomed quickly by Charlie. She wasn’t propped up on Springtrap’s shoulders this time, She must have been waiting.

“So what do you want to learn about tonight?”

“I’m actually kind of tired today. Had a hard time falling asleep.”

“That’s okay! I can protect you while you sleep!”

“Oh...um Thank you.”

“Follow me!” Charlie took Izzy’s hand and led her to the back room. She opened the door slightly and flipped on the light. “Springy, Izzy’s here now.” For once her voice was quiet.  It raised its head off the floor, it had clearly been sleeping.

“I’m sorry if she woke you up.” It shook its head no,

Do...not...be...it...is...ok...I...am...glad...you...are...here. It still wasn’t fully awake yet, still groggy from sleep it had obviously been enjoying.

“She said she was tired. I figured she could sleep out in here.”

That...is...okay.

“He said that was ok.”

“I thought he would.” Charlie let go of Izzy’s hand, “Make yourself comfortable.”

“How did you know where to lead me if you’re blind?”

“I have this place memorized.” Izzy’s need to sleep was catching up to her,

“Thank…thank you.” Izzy practically flopped onto the floor, the stone cold floor. Springtrap gave Charlie a look like he was asking what they should do at this point in time, knowing she couldn’t see him didn’t matter.

“If she’s on the floor you should just pick her up, that floor is cold. And you should know that you sat there for 32 years." Taking Charlie's advice he took Izzy up and laid her against his side.

Izzy woke up a few hours later, surprised to find Springtrap’s arm wrapped around her. “If you’re confused it’s just parental instinct.”

“How could you tell I was awake?”

“I could hear your breathing getting heavier.” Izzy rubbed her eyes and met Charlie face to face.

“Little strange don’t ya think?”

“He raised three children, four if you count how much my father relied on him to help out with me.”

“Oh...Okay.” Izzy was too tired to be worried about the robot treating her like a child. He wasn’t hurting her, and he was quite gentle after all. Because no one should be worried about an animatronic with a corpse inside it showing any sign of affection.

“You’ve been here for three days and he’s already warming up to you, normally it takes a few months.”

“Huh?”

“He doesn’t warm up to people that easily, my dad told me that something had happened when he was younger. You must be special.”

“It’s been a long time since I’ve been called special in a good way.”
