My parents always told me that I was born a leader, a protector, a daughter and a princess of the southern lands. They say It was my destiny to rule over the lands as a stronger leader than them, my parents King Zathas and Queen Ura are the leaders, the peace makers, the warriors, even the gods of the feudal era everyone respects them even the baddest of the bad that's how powerful they are. As a pup I always had my eyes set on the thrown so I can protect my people and have the same respect my parents have but i must find a strong mate so we can continue the blood line. My parents have been looking for a mate for me even when I wasn't even born yet, but they ran into a certain dog demon and his son. Ever since then I was told to befriend the young dog demon and to be honest I enjoyed befriending him.Sesshomaru was his name, he was quiet when we met but as we got to know each other more, the more he began to let loose. After about 50 years went by sesshomaru had to return to his kingdom with his parents, but on the last night sesshomaru and I ran to our favorite spot, a beautiful small lake that is covered by trees making it invisible. We sat there in silence looking at the fish swim by until I finally spoke up: "Sesshomaru, will you remember me?" I asked in my little voice looking up at him. "of coarse I will your my best friend how could I forget you." he replied looking down at me tucking loose strands of my long white hair behind my ear." I'm going to miss you......a lot." I said as I tackled him in a hug tears running down my face. Sesshomaru releases me and whips my tears away with his thumb, he looks as if he were to cry as well but he doesn't want you to cry anymore. Sesshomaru reaches into his kimono and pulls out a necklace with small red beads and a white fang in the middle." As long as you wear this I will never leave your side, I promise." sesshomaru said as he placed the beautiful necklace around your neck. "We should head back." he said frowning. you nodded and walked with him back to the castle to see him off. "Ah, there you two are have you said your goodbyes?" my father asked. we nodded. " Alright then we shall be heading home then." said InuTashio sesshomarus father. you and sesshomaru looked at each other and hugged each other one last time until they finally left. Tears were coming from your eyes to your face, you don't know how long it would be until you would ever see him again but like he said: as long as I have this necklace he would never leave. "Come on Shyann time for dinner." your mother yelled. you snapped out of your trance then looked at the place where you best friend once stood and then turned around into the castle."Oh I wish to see him soon." You whispered to yourself
