"What the-?!" Joul now runs back into Jean's room, out of breath. "What the fuck did you do, Jean?! There was a wave of kinetic motion, like a magnitude 4 earthquake!" Hearing this, Jean has to blink a few times. "I asked Dave#510, about the other subjects. He gave me basic descriptions of them and the said, that there was something that connected them all." Joul takes a seat, out of fatigue and intrigue. "Go onn." Is her only response. "Well, I was hit with a wave of malicious psychic energy. Which made my conversation with Dave#510 stall for a bit. Then, when I got it back on track and asked him for what connected the subjects..." "Yeah? What did he say?" Joul has a genuine interest now. Such information, could help her too after all. "His system then gave the 'access denied' thing. But, since it's only observational information, it was listed in the whole system as free information. Someone was actively trying to stop me from finding out, that Evelyn is the catalyst." The words come out, Joul hears them, but remains frozen for a moment. "Uhh Dr. Joul?? Are you ok there??"

After a few seconds of Joul putting her face in her hands she looks up at Jean. "Dude. This makes too much sense. Little things here and there, have bee diverted or strange things like this, happening every now and then. But, when machines are sent to the engineering dept. they're 100% fine...Someone's actively manipulating many parts of this place." Joul has a look of horror on her face, just knowing that this place isn't all as in-control of itself as it first seemed. "So...is it Evelyn then? Just a few minutes ago, when I climbed the wall to the observation thing. Austin, was screeching about how she was trying to put him under her control, again." Joul's face initially lights up, looking like she remembered it, but then her face turns to confusion. "Y'know...you're saying that, I remembered a bit then the memory became fuzzy. I think it's worth investigating this." States Joul, with a now agitated look on her face. 

She goes to leave Jean to her own devices, before then remembers something. "Oh and uh, since you caused that 'psychic shockwave' just now, you've got to be moved to a more secure place. In fact, I'm faaiirly sure they'll dump you on me." Jean has a bewildered face. "Am I really that bad?" "Not really, but, I research the occult like my Dad, soo I'm the person you'll be put into the 'care' of since ESP is out of the realms of normal human shit." Joul then waves and leaves. If looks could kill, Joul would be committing Jennacide right now. Heh.

Three Adu guards come waking into Jean's room, in calm manner. "Jean Langley. By decree of higher command, you're being transferred into the custody of Dr. Joul. Under her, you will be tested on the limits of your paranormal abilities, as well as furthering the Javelin Company's goal, on detecting and containing other ESPers." Huh. Now we at least know what this place's end-goals are. "You presence to the 'Joul Hellsite' of the west wing, is ordered immediately. Medical staff will be there, as well. Any questions, before departure?" Jean stays quiet for a few seconds. "Yeah, uh, why do I need medical attention??" The guard has a somewhat surprised look in his eyes. "You're ordered to strip by corrupt authority, get slight chemical burns in your lungs, impale said corrupted authority with enamelled glass and all-round tell a squad of armed guards to stand down. You do realise the toll of that on yourself, don't you?" Jean thinks for a minute. "Huh. Never really did think of that actually. OK, I can see why medics would be needed then. Let's go then."

The Adu guards then nod between each other and walk Jean to the centre of the whole facility. Jean sees the white-washed walls don't change much through the place. Then, when just looking at the west hall that has the entrance to Joul's Hellsite, the walls are not only a different colour but also a different texture and atmosphere.
