"Paladins, today we've come across an emotional pattern that will greatly benefit our training!" Allura announced as the team circled around her. Keith has his hair pulled back in a messy bun, hands on his blade. Shiro looked confused.

"Princess, I thought we agreed to go with the normal training route today, since we won the attack yesterday." Allura giggled and gave a small shake of her head. "Well, last night I saw something during the battle that increased everyone's stamina, I thought we'd try and better understand it!"

Coran cut in; "Get ready to be scared."

Then the aliens moved away and Hunk have a nervous chuckle. "What're you gonna do, have fake spiders rain down on us?" Lance challenged, Pidge hitting him over the head as the training bots sprung out.

Keith slashing away within seconds, wasting no time. However, the others took a minute before fighting the waves of bots drowning the team.

"Mon cheri." A gruff voice said over the speakers. Keith's heart stopped. His brain going fuzzy as he slashed through a training bot's neck.

"Voices? Oh I'm so scared!" Lance screamed as he dodged an attack. After around 5 minutes, the team had defeated the first wave. Sweat clinging to Keith's shirt as the same voice spoke again.

"I do this because I love you. Because you can't follow our rules." Keith's breathing became heavier. Tears stinging he back of his eyes as he flung his knife into a bot's head. Hitting it in the middle of its forehead as his legs wobbled. He locked his knees and squeezed his eyes shut. His hands turning to fists, punching a bot when it came too close. His Bayard had long been forgotten.

"Woah! Keith's punching them like a psycho!" Lance screamed, drawing attention to Keith just as the voice spoke again.

"Remember our rules? Remember them, mon biquet."

Keith sucked in and choked on air. Coughing as the others ran to him. Bots surrounding him as he stumbles back. A mental hand hitting him over the back of his head, Keith losing his balance.

"Mon ciel étoilé, you've been bad. You disobeyed me." The voice was almost teasing him. Keith could feel his hands on his shoulders. Fingertips pressing against his chin and cocking his head up.

"No. No. No." He whimpered, body colliding with the floor and causing a jolt of pain. Shiro quickly took the squad down with the others help. Pidge turning to see that Keith was now curled in a ball.

"Keith! Oh god, the bot must have hurt him, he needs a pod!" Hunk shouted as he caught Pidge's horrified stare. Shiro was alert at once. Jogging over to the red paladin.

Keith's shoulders trembled.

"Guys, stay away from him."

"W-what? Why?! He's hurt!" Lance stammered, taking a step away. Pidge dragging him closer to her. "Shiro can help. He always can." She murmured to him as she went to snatch Hunk.

"I'm sorry, I'm sorry, papa I'm sorry." Shiro ran his hand over Keith's cheek. The raven haired teen flinched violently and let out a choked sob. "You're okay," he soothed as Keith tried to pull away.

"I disobeyed. I'm bad, I'm sorry. I'm sorry. I'm–"

"Shhh." Shiro hushed as Keith continued trembling. Whimpers escaping his lips. "Please don't do me. Please no. Not again." Keith's words made Shiro freeze.

"Who am I?" Keith had his eyes closed tightly. His face was red and streaked with gloss form tears. "I don't know."

He whispered, curling tighter into a ball. Shiro's expression softened and he ran his hands through Keith's hair.

"I'm sorry. I'm sorry. I'm sorry."

"You don't have to be sorry, you're alright." Shiro's hand hovered over Keith's cheek. Keith sucked in, coughing out a large breath of air.

"No touch, no touch, no touch." Keith's voice was smaller. Shiro bit his lip before removing his hand from Keith's view. Keith's hands moved to his shoulders. He clenched his fingers over the bone and squeezed harder.

Pressure wasn't good when not by himself, unwelcomed pressure was torture.

"Coran, get a sedative." Allura whispered. Keith overheard her and words rushed in. Memories stacked on memories flushing into his system.

"Stay down your freak!" A shrill voice screeched at him. His wrists were tied to a bed post. His feet were desperately kicking the air around him, hoping the woman would keep her distance. The green eyed adult huffed at him. Her left hand squeezing another lasso of rope, the right hand clutching a tree sap tapper.

"Let's see if your blood will come out like tree sap, boy." Her voice was cold. Keith's mind froze.

The woman giggled.

"We won't even give you a sedative!"

His vision was darkening as his breathing slowed. What was going on?

Then he passed out.
