It was the day Namjoon, Jin, Yoongi, Hoseok, Jimin, Taehyung and Jungkook were finally going to debut for the first time ever as BTS.
All of the members couldn't deny they were nervous. That was.. except for Namjoon.
The guys were about to perform on stage in just five minutes and after even more than a hundred times practicing with their blood, sweat & tears, it was finally time to show it off.
This was the day.. the day everything changes. And the members still couldn't believe the day had come. Even though they practiced for this day, they still felt nervous and scared.
Namjoon noticed Jungkook had his hands clenched together as he sat down and looked at the ground. He could see his chest moving forward and backward, he was trying his best to calm down.
"You're going to be amazing, you know that?" Namjoon said as he pat Jungkook's back.
Fifteen year old Jungkook raised his head up and bit his lip. "But.. but what if I mess up?" He said hesitantly.
The leader chuckled. "Now why would the most hardworking and greatest member mess up, hm?"
"You're right, I'll try not to.. " Jungkook looked straight into Namjoon's eyes. "I promise you that I won't, don't worry about me!"
He wanted to change his attitude so Namjoon won't have any disbeliefs in him. Jungkook wanted to prove to his beloved leader that he worked hard for this moment.
"You don't need to promise, I just know that you'll do great no matter what, because this is it.. this is finally it!"
The maknae couldn't help but to be fascinated by his leader. He just loved how charismatic Namjoon was. And it was the reason he joined the group. He knew that there wouldn't be any leader like him.
"I'm surprised you're not nervous! Wow Hyung, you're amazing!" Jungkook said in awe.
Namjoon laughed. "Of course I'm not nervous-" He looked at all the members sitting around the waiting room. "- because I know how hard everyone worked. It's finally worth it!"
But deep inside, Namjoon couldn't help but admit he was afraid too. Although, he tried his best not to show it, because he should be looked up on, and setting a bad example was the last thing he wanted to do. What kind of a leader would that be then?

After successfully debuting with no mistakes, the boys were feeling very happy with themselves. The day they never thought would have come, finally came.
Jin, Jimin, Taehyung, Hoseok and Jungkook went out to celebrate.
But it was Namjoon and Yoongi who stayed in the dorms and started to work on their new song. The other members insisted they should celebrate a bit but both of them refused and were already thinking about their next comeback.
They just had to make everything perfect.
Namjoon was trying to come up with lyrics while Yoongi was trying to compose the song with a laptop on his lap.
"Hey.." Yoongi said.
"Wha'" Namjoon answered.
"Have you checked what the media have to say about our debut?"
The leader shook his head. "I don't think we'll come up. We are still too small."
"Nope. Coz' look what I found." Yoongi signaled Namjoon to walk towards him, and so he did.
"Don't tell me-"
"Right there!" Yoongi pointed at an article showing on the screen.
Namjoon moved his head closer as Yoongi opened the article and both of them read what it said.
In the inside, they felt so happy. The way the article wrote about them made their group sound professional.
"Are there any comments? Look for the comments!" Namjoon insisted.
Yoongi scrolled right to the bottom and click on the speech bubble.
And there it was.. twenty two comments to be in total.
1. "AHHH~ THEY'RE SO COOOOL!!"
2. "Their dancing is so hard.."
3. "The guy with the sunglasses looked the coolest😂"
Namjoon couldn't help but to smile at the comments he was reading. Even just a few comments meant a lot to him. A reaction was all he wanted. Then he started to continue reading.
4. "This song will be in my head haha!"
5. "How old is the Youngest?"
6. "Oooo abs >.< wha- Jiminie~"
7. "They're trying to be cool but failed😂"
Yoongi pretended to not read that comment and continued scrolling.
8. "Debut song and it already sucked. That's sad. Judging from this I don't think they'll be that big."
Namjoon couldn't help but get hurt. But he tried to keep his cool. "There will always be negative comments.. haha.. don't worry! But look at all the ones the nice people wrote! See! That one is about you!"
"Yeah.. but, let's try not to mention this to the other members. We just debuted and this will bring them down." Yoongi said to him.
Namjoon sighed. "Alright."
They continued to read the comments despite all the negatives ones they came across.
Yoongi read one comment out loud. It was fine because the other members were out and they were in the dorm alone.
16. "That Taehyung guy barely sang haha😂Might as well kick him out the group. Useless hahahah"
"Shhhh! Don't read that out loud!" Namjoon warned.
"Who cares? We're the only ones alone anyways."
"Useless.." Taehyung repeated quietly as he couldn't help but overhear what the guys were saying. He was also in the dorms but decided to not go with the other members and hang around alone.
