The final battle at Hogwarts was over. Harry had won and the people had a celebration and mourned for the dead. Soon, it became night. Harry, Hermione, Ron were walking to their old room when they saw Draco picking something up and scurrying away. They were curious and suspicious so they went under Harry's invisible cloak and snuck after him. Then they saw Draco stop at the Room of Requirement and go in. Harry, Hermione, and Ron followed him. There, they saw Draco holding a shiny gold object that looked like 2 disks crossing each other with a gold circle plate in the middle, surrounding an hourglass.

*gasp* " How does he have that?" Hermione whispered.

"What," whispered Ron right back.

"He has a time turner," replied Harry.

"A time turner!?" shouted Ron, completely forgetting that they were hiding.

Draco whipped his head to the sound while Harry and Hermione glared at Ron. "Who's there?" asked Draco. "Crap, Ron why did you have to shout!" whispered Hermione angrily. "Sorry, sorry I forgot." whispered Ron back. "Accio Cloak" said Draco. The invisible cloak flew to Draco's hand and exposed Harry, Hermione, and Ron. "Now that you've seen us, why do you have a time turner? Are you trying to bring Voldemort back?" accused Harry. "No I'm-" Draco got cut off because the time turner got activated. Ron had turned it a random number of times.

A bright light flashed and Draco, Harry, Hermione, and Ron ended up in the past. "Where are we and what time period is it?" asked Ron. "Judging by the old looking houses and cars, I'd say we're around the 1900s," replied Hermione. "I'll go ask the man over there where we are and what day it is. I'll just tell him I lost my watch for a few days and forgot where I lived if he looks at weirdly." said Draco. "No! I don't trust you," said Harry, "I'm coming with you." "Fine! Just do whatever you want." replied Draco, annoyed. The two of them went over to the man. The man had reddish-brown hair, swept to the side with many freckles.

Draco and Harry approached him and said, "Sir, do you know the date and where we are?"

"It is 1920 and you're in New York. Who are you?" the man asked.

"I am Draco Malfoy and he is sain- Harry Potter," said Draco, " We are from Hogwarts. Who are you?"

"I am Newt Scamander and if I didn't hear you wrong, did you say Hogwarts?" asked Newt. "Yes we said Hogwarts, do you know that place?" inquired Harry.

"Yes, I know that place. I used to go to Hogwarts," responded Newt.

"You went to Hogwarts?!" said Harry and Draco, shocked.

"Yes, I went to Hogwarts." replied Newt.

"Could you wait one second please?" asked Harry. "Sure." said Newt. "Let's call Hermionie and Ron over first." said Harry. "Fine, do that." responded Draco. Harry and Draco ran over to Hermione and Ron and filled them on the details. Hermione told them to come with her and told them she would talk to Newt. "Sorry about the wait. My name is Hermione. We currently don't have a place to stay and we have something very important to tell you. Do you mind if we stay with you till then?" asked Hermione. "No I don't mind but my house is in the suitcase I'm carrying. We have to go to a secluded place and go inside the case." said Newt. "That is fine. We can go wherever you need." responded Hermione. Hermione, Draco, Ron, and Harry followed Newt to a secluded place. From there, all of them jumped inside the bag to arrive at Newt's home.

Inside the bag, the four 18 year old people sat down on the couch and started telling Newt what had happened. "This might come as a shock to you, but we are from the future. We had a time turner to go back in time but Ron turned it a random number of dials so we ended up here. We need a another time turner to go back home. Do you know anyone who has one?" said Harry. "Wait so you are from the future and you need a time turner to get home." said Newt. "Yes," responded Harry. " You are lucky because I-" said Newt. Suddenly, the room began to shake. "Oh no. Someone picked up the bag and is taking it with him. To make it worse, it is a muggle!" said Newt panicking, "I have a time turner with me right now but you can't use it unless you go out of this bag. The problem is, the bag won't open when a muggle is eyesight near it or is holding it. You'll have to stay here until the muggle is not near the bag." Harry, Hermione, Ron, and Draco had to stay here in the suitcase. What would happen to them now.

Newt told the four of them to follow him. He led them to the Thunderbird. It was a majestic bird with 4 wings. It was gold/white and could create storms. Newt told them to take care of the Thunderbird while he made a place for them to sleep. Awed by the Thunderbird, the four of them half-heartedly nodded and kept gawking at the bird. Harry thought it reminded him of the hippogriff so he did what Hagrid told him to do to the hippogriff, and did it to the Thunderbird. Somehow, it had worked. Harry, Hermione, and Ron went and petted the bird at first then started to play with it. They rode on his back and had fun trying to race each other on brooms and the thunderbird. Draco stayed out because he didn't want to play with Harry. Also, he had to think of a way to go back to a different time period without the trio noticing. Unlike what Harry thought of Draco trying to resurrect Voldemort, he was actually trying to save Astoria Greengrass who had died. Then he thought he could send the trio first, wait until the the portal closed, then go to a different time period. Yes that should work. This way Saint Potter and his friends can go home and I can help Astoria. thought Draco. Days passed with the trio playing with the Thunderbird and Draco sitting out on the side. At first, Draco didn't play with them but later on, he stayed with them. Every day he stayed and played with them longer and longer until all 4 of them were very close. Today, it is the 5th month 1st week. As usual, the trio and Draco are playing with the Thunderbird and when they hear Newt calling out to them. They say bye to the Thunderbird and rushed to Newt. "The muggle is finally gone. Turn the dial correctly this time and hurry up. It was great having you here with me and I won't forget you. Have fun back at your home!" said Newt. "Thank you for your hospitality and we had a great time. Have fun here and outside of your suitcase!" said Harry, speaking for all of them. They went out and turned the dial correctly and the bright light appeared again. Draco stepped in first thinking I've been to the past and as much as I would like to save Astoria, it would be terrible if I met my past self. What was done will be done and will never change. With that in mind Draco went through the portal first. Harry, Hermione, and Ron followed him right after. All 4 of them came back to the Room of Requirements. They decided to keep this a secret between them and they all became friends. The next day, they were walking when they saw a mini version of Newt. The 4 of them walked over to the kid and asked for his last name. "My last name is Scamander, sir." said the kid. "Your ancestor was a great person. Keep that in mind as you study." said Draco. After those words, Harry, Hermione, Ron, and Draco apparated leaving the boy confused.
