Sour Encounter

It was a fine day for a picnic at Life's Garden. Toriel had invited the Afterdeath family over so that they could spend time together and relax from a long week of work.

Toriel and Geno were currently preparing the snacks while Reaper was in charge of making the Lemonade. Goth and Papyrus were setting up the blanket, securing it and straightening the cutlery and plates.
Reaper hummed a tune softly as he cut the lemons and squeezed them into a jug.

"Daddy what are you doing?" asked a curious Goth who was peering up at him from the other side of the table.

"Well, kiddo I'm making Lemonade for us to drink with the yummy snacks your mom is preparing," Reaper answered as he squeezed the last lemon into the jug.

Goth watched as his father added different ingredients to the lemonade and rose a brow at how much sugar he put into it.
Noticing the puzzled look he was getting from Goth, Reaper chuckled as he turned to him.

"What's with the face kiddo?"

"Why'd put in so much sugar?"

Beckoning him closer with a mischievous smirk he got a lemon, cut it in half and held it in front of Goth's face.

"Stick out your tongue Goth!"

Doing as he was told Goth stuck out his tongue and waited with bated breath as his father lowered the lemon to his tongue and squeezed it.
Goth squealed in surprise at how sour the juice from the retched fruit was. No wonder his father added so much sugar! It was awfully sour. His small face scrunched up in disgust, his little mouth puckered as his eyes watered. It was awful!!

"SANS!" Papyrus scolded his brother, he caught his brother just in time to see when he squeezed the lemon juice on his nephew's tongue.

Reaper laughed at Goth's reaction but it was short-lived as a mad Geno stormed over and punched him in the back of his skull.

"I can't believe you Reaper, so cruel towards my son!" growled an angry Geno. He picked up Goth and gave him a lollipop to suck on so that he could rid his mouth of the sourness.

Reaper doubled over from the blow to his skull still chuckling, " it was so worth it!"
