My father wasn't one to put things lightly. He didn't like to wait. He preferred to get to the cold hard truth. He liked to have everything up to his speed, not anyone else's.
"Are you willing to do anything to make sure our company succeeds?" My father asked after my mother left.
"Of course father. Why do you ask?"
"I just wanted to make sure."
"Uhmm ok."
"Are you willing to marry for the company?"
"Uhmm, what?"
"Are you willing to marry for the company?" My father repeated.
"I guess if it will help the company, why bring up such a random question?"
"Because that's what you'll do in 4 months."
"What?!"
"Your going to be married in 4 months. Do I have to keep on repeating myself?!" My father yelled. When he yelled he had this look in his eyes that made me get scared.
"N-no sir."
