Let's give you a flashback, shall we?
"#####, come on! Let's go on the slide!" little Jisung spoke.
"Alright!" the boy said, he was a cheerful type of boy.
"#####, do you think we can get married in the future?"
"But your not my soulmate, silly #####!"
"What's a soulmate, #####?"
"Um, a soulmate is a person that you are supposed to be with, and you are led by a red string!" said the boy.
"Really? Are you mine?" Jisung asked.
"I don't know, Jisung, but I promise to be your best friend forever!"
"Forever?! You promise, right?" Jisung said holding up his pinky.
"I promise!" He said.
*Flashback ends*
Jisung shot up. Tears start to fill his eyes, it's only 4 am, he needs to go back to sleep.
"Idiot! Liar! I hate you!" Jisung whispered under his breath.
"Wait, that was before Soyoung got hit, and I moved to Malaysia to study," Jisung said to himself.
"Jisung?" Soyoung said.
"I-I had a dream, about my forgotten best friend...Soo, I don't like the dream. We both broke our promises, how can I face him? I even forgot what he had looked like, did he move or-?"
"Jisung, it's okay, you have me, right? It's okay. You both were young, you both probably forgot." She said, I felt her hand on my shoulder, it felt like cold air, when the winter comes.
"You need to go back to sleep, hopefully, you fall asleep soon," Sooyoung said before disappearing in thin air.
I tried to go back to sleep, after 30 minutes, I finally have. Somehow, I wished I never moved to Malaysia to study.
*Another Flashback*
"#####, will you ever forget about me?" Jisung asked.
"Of Course not, we have this picture to remember!" the boy said showing me a polaroid of us together.
"Okay, but I don't have anything to remember us by," Jisung said.
"Here, I have this for you," the boy said handing Jisung a necklace.
It was a silver locket. He remembered what it looked like.
"Ji, wake up brat," Sooyoung said.
Jisung woke up. He wants to find that pendant.
"Eomma! Do you remember that pendant that one kid gave me? Do you know where it is?" I yelled.
"Honey, we threw it away years ago, why are you asking for it now?" she said coming into my room.
"Haha, all of a sudden, I just remember it," Jisung said.
"You said you didn't want it anymore." Jisung's mom told me.
"Oh, really? I forgot." I said I felt like I was frozen.
"How could I forget about it? It was probably the only clue I can find of him.
I got ready for school and decided to tell my friends.
I really want to find him again.
