The wolves Final Act

Accalia and Lykaios

6 months earlier....

Lykaios is Accalia's bodyguard, but Accalia thinks of him as a brother rather then an expert soldier protecting her and keeping her safe. During the journey Lykaios would carry Accalia on his back while she went to sleep, he would always make sure she gets what she wants and also jot spoil her at the same time, also he's one of the most skillful killers the royal family could ever own, but vowed he'd never ever think of taking her or her family's life,

Lykaios is young with white hair, his muscular but not as much, like Accalia he is also an artic wolf. He gets angry quickly but hold it in whenever Accalia is around, not because she made him angry, it's because he would never want Accalia to be scared of him

One day Accalia was looking for a key she lost, it leads to a secret door which no one in the castle knows about exept for her and lykaios. Accalia was looking around and thought that lykaios might be abpe to find it, so she went to find him, she saw him and ran up to him who was with the king discussing about Accalia's well being. Accalia whispered to lykaios "lyka...I have bad news, I have lost the key to our secret door"

"Accalia" said her father "could you care to tell me what you whispered to Lykaios?" Accalia laughed and said " father you cannot know, it's a secret haha" the king made a puppy dog eyes and said "Awww, I feel left out, I guess Accalia loves lykaios more then she does me" Accalia ran up to the king and hugged him " father don't be silly, of course I love you, you are my father after all" the king picked Accalia up and spun her around hugging her and lykaios was smiling and laughing as he watched Accalia have a bonding time with her father.

Lykaios and Accalia walked out of fathers study room and Lykaios said "The key, how did it get lost, did you eat it by accident?" Accalia made a face (-.-") and said "No it got lost because after I had my bath I forgot to put the key in the box and I think one of the maids found it and thought it was part of their keys" Lykaios was thinking and said "hmmm, make sense that they'd think that, well looks like it time to go on a key hunt!"

Accalia was excited, she loved solving and finding stuff as if she was a detective and her sidekick Lykaios helps her out, she then winked and bravely announced to Lykaios "let us solves the mystery of the missing key, which maid has our key?" Lykaios highfived Accalia "Alright! Let's be off Accalia, before the maid finds out our secret door way" she laughed "yeah!" She shouted with happiness.

Another time they saw a poor, lost, little kitten and wanted to keep it, well Accalia did anyways "Lyka let us take it back home, it is hungry and it is too little to feed itself, and it also looks abandoned too" she said with an innocent face. "Uhh...well, it's best not to, you know it might be dirty and diseased, we don't want you to fall ill" Lykaios told her.

"Oh I see how it is, you are scared" Accalia said sarcastically "you're scared of kittens aren't you?" she smirked. "N-no, of course not! It's not like that, I just...it's mother might come and when she finds it missing, she'll get worried" he replied. It wasn't the kitten he was afraid of, he was afraid of the diseases it may carry from being outside in this wasteland, he didn't want Accalia to catch any of that, but he didn't want to tell her that. He thought of an idea that would satisfy her and keep them bringing it home. "I'll tell you what, lets go back and get some food, then come back here and give it to the kitten, sound good?" He said. Accalia looked up and smiled. "Okay," she said, "lets hurry back then, before it leaves". Lyakios bent down and petted her head and said "Yes, let's get going." with a smile on his face. He picked her up and ran as fast as he could back to the town.

As soon as they got back they saw the slayers attack the village. Bombs were being launched, innocent people being attacked, and slayers entering the kingdom, Lykaios ran back to the king, who was ready for battle. "Your highnes, what are your orders?" Said lykaios as he ran through the door covering Accalia with his long black cloak which is ripped at the end. "You have a choice, Lykaios. You can either go back to your family and protect them and help in the fight after their safety, or you can protect my daughter Accalia from being attacked." Lykaios froze, stunned. He wanted to protect his family, his caring mother, his humorous father, his adoring little brother, his loving wife and his precious daughter,  but at the same time he wants to protect Accalia.

He was in deep thought, hesitating. He couldn't choose, before he could utter a word, a huge cannonball flew straight at the King's window, and exploded, the flames spread throughout the castle, Accalia flew back and hit a wall, and dropped like a lifeless doll, unconscious. As the same time both the king and lykaios flew back and got injured. The king crawled tp his daughter and then shouted to lykaios "choose now lykaios!" Lykaios still dazed, shook his head and got up, he walked towards Accalia and picked her up "i choose Accalia" he said hiding his face with his cloak and hair, and ran off away from the meaningless war.
