Chapter 16

*Ross' P.O.V.*

"How could you?" Bella asked. Her eyes brimming with tears.

I couldn't answer. I didn't know how I could.

"Bella, please." I started. "Just listen." I reached for her arm but she backed up and pulled her arm away, shaking her head.

"Don't Ross, just don't." She said, tears running down her face.

"Bella, listen to me-" She turned on her heel and ran out of the restaurant. Tyler looked at me.

"How could you?" He said, shaking his head and followed Bella out. I sunk into my chair and covered my face with my hands.

"Well, that wasn't much of a loss, was it?" I heard Laura say. I picked up my head.

"What are you talking about?" I said. "She was, and probably always will be, the best thing that's ever happened to me."

"Now you can be with me, though!" She whined.

"But, I don't want to be." I said, turning away from her. "You will never be Bella." And with that I walked away.

*Bella's P.O.V.*

After I caught Ross kissing Laura, I ran towards the Haunted Mansion. I got in line with tears still dripping down my face.

"Bella!" I heard someone shout behind me. Uhg, I thought, please don't be Tyler. I slowly turned around, and sure enough Tyler was running towards me waving his hands above his head. I rolled my eyes. I wanted to be alone. Why didn't people get that?

"Excuse me," I could hear him saying as he tried to push past the people behind me to reach me. "Bella, are you okay?"

"I'm fine." I mumbled quietly turning away from him.

"No, your not." Tyler said pulling me into him and wrapping his arms around me. Tears started streaming down my face even more. "Shh, it's okay. That guy was just a jerk. He didn't deserve you."

"You're not helping, Tyler!" I yelled trying to pull away from him, but that just caused him to hold in even tighter. People were starting to stare,but at this point I really didn't care.

"I'm not letting you go." I heard Tyler whisper to me. "I won't let you go again."
