personality~ Joey is a very independent and rebellious girl. She is a huge adrenaline addict, she loves testing the limits and getting out of her comfort zone. She is also a huge flirt and enjoys having everyone's attention on her. She is also extremely moody and has temper issues.
background~ Joey was born and raised in Hawkins, Indiana. She met Steve Harrington in kindergarten and almost immediately became best friends, while at home her heroin addict parents fought and drank. It wasn't until 3rd grade when child protective services stepped in and took full custody over her after her father murdered her mother. She stopped hanging around Steve around the time Nancy Wheeler came along since they didnt get along very well. She met Billy a little after he moved to Hawkins and almost immediately clicked with him.
