I wouldn't be surprised if two weeks already passed by; the days seem to be the same ever since I arrived here; however, nowadays, Jiao is here to mourn for me, which isn't ideal. Gale started to put more conditions when he took me out of the room I'm usually at, his punishments became complicated and more hurtful by the days, and Jiao sobs were more intense each time Gale took me off her side.
At this moment, I think none of us is truly alive, and the only thing we have is both of us, but still, I got the chance to plan something with Jun's friend, who it's infiltrated with us, and we have a high probability of finally coming to an end with Gale and his businesses.
Currently, Jiao is beside me just curling up against my embrace; she isn't doing well; however, I have to admit that she's brave enough to keep confronting Gale the way she does. As I kept caressing her hair while looking at her happily, the door got opened. In a heartbeat, Gale came inside the room with some of his guards. They took Jiao from my side and placed her on the other corner of the room.
-What are you doing? – Jiao asked while looking at Gale seriously.
-What I need to. – Gale murmured while grabbing her cheeks aggressively.
-Hey! Don't touch her. – I shouted madly.
-Shut up. – One of the guards said before kicking me.
I looked at Jiao for her to be calm.
-Lovebirds, I want you to understand that this isn't the place to be together. – Gale spoke. -I didn't keep you here to be all the time together, so, from now on, you'll stay apart. – He smirked as his guards started to chain up Jiao.
-Yanan. – Jiao said in shock while trying to get free from their grip.
She's on the other corner of the room, sounds like a little space, but it wasn't; after all, this is quite a spacious room.
-Let me go! – Jiao shouted before she kicked one of the guards.
-Hey, calm down, darling. – Gale said before grabbing her hair.
-Let me be with Yanan. – Jiao demanded.
-Yanan, what do you think about that? – Gale asked, discretely he took out a knife and placed it against Jiao's body.
Immediately, I looked down and sighed. -Don't move, Jiao. – I ordered.
-But, but Yanan. – She stuttered.
-Don't move, please. – I begged while looking at her, concerned.
-Fine. – She looked away from me as she let the guards chain her wrists.
-Good, enjoy the new arrangement. – Gale smirked before the guards went out before him.
As soon as they closed the door, I started to crawl as near as possible to Jiao.
-He had a knife; I needed to protect you. – I explained.
-I noticed. – Jiao sighed before crawling towards me, barely reaching our hands. -It sucks. – She sniffed.
-Hey, we'll get out of here, I promise. – I said with a slight smile.
-Yanan, I'm sorry for getting you into this, I'm sincerely sorry. – Jiao sobbed.
-Princess. – I whispered. -It's alright. – I smiled.
I laid down, and luckily her head could reach my lap, so she laid down on top of it as I tried to caress her hair. I started to sing softly, trying to calm her down as much as possible, and it worked since she began to sing along with me.

*Hours later*
-Jiao's POV-
After being together and talking about happier things, you fell asleep on his lap; after all, he was caressing your head, which made you feel sleepier in a couple of minutes. In your dreams, you felt that everything could end and that Yanan rescued you from this hell, but still, you are scared for him since you want him to think about himself too and not only you.
Currently, you are opening up your eyes little by little, and you noticed that Yanan was sleeping too. Briefly, after you yawned, you started to smell something burning; without hesitation, you began to wake up Yanan while moving his arm back and ford.
-What's the matter? – Yanan asked while opening his eyes little by little.
-Yanan, something is happening out there. – You said while glancing at the door. -It smells like something is burning – You told concerned.
Suddenly, a loud smack blared all over the place, which made Yanan immediately take your hand tightly; briefly, Gale opened the door and started to unchain you.
-What are you doing? – You asked, confused.
-I'm taking you out of here; the place is falling on fire. – Gale told before taking you away from the room.
-No! Let me go! Yanan! – You shouted as Gale started to drag you farther away.
You saw the whole place on fire while people are running around in search of an escape. Gale kept pulling you away from the hallway where the room is at, which made you feel more frustrated than before. You noticed that Gale was panicking, which you took as an advantage, carefully you picked up a piece of wood that fell from the roof, and you used it to hit Gale's head as hard as you could.
He fell to the floor, which was what you wanted to achieve, quickly you took the keys from his pocket and ran towards the room you were with Yanan. When you arrived, you started to unchain Yanan.
-We need to get out of here – You said while putting the chains aside.
-Where is Gale? – Yanan asked, surprised.
-I knocked him out. – You smiled.
-That's my princess. – Yanan grinned before kissing your lips gently.
As soon as Yanan was free, he took your hand, and both of you started to run towards Gale's office, and then he took a pen from his desk and pressed the top of it.
-The locators are activated – Yanan told as you grabbed an envelope. -What is that? – He asked, confused.
-Something about his latest business, I'll explain to you when we get out. – You told him.
-Right, let's get out. – Yanan said.
Both of you started to run towards the exit; when suddenly Gale appeared out of nowhere and started to hit Yanan aggressively, they briefly got down to the ground while punching each other hard.
-Hey! Stop it! – You shouted as you tried to pull Gale away.
Gale was fast enough, and he took out a gun from his back, then he pointed at Yanan; however, he avoided the shot and took the gun away from Gale before kicking his stomach.
-Yanan. – You said concerned since he was pointing at Gale with rage.
-Do it, Yanan! Kill me! – Gale challenged.
-No! You aren't like this, Yanan. – You cried.
-It's just one shot, and everything will be away, Jiao. – Yanan spoke while looking at Gale seriously. -He'll leave us alone. – Yanan looked at you while holding the gun tighter.
