John's pov
She was so close twice today, first the attacks dipping her HP too low and this time the bridge that almost sent her plummeting. If it wasn't for sans and his brother thinking fast i would've lost my last family. I couldn't be more grateful to the bros as papyrus stopped me from the shortcut." WE'LL MEET MY BROTHER AT HOME, I GET THE FEELING YOU NEED TO TALK TO SOMEONE ABOUT THAT CRAZINESS, BESIDES I NEED TO STOP BY UNDYNES TO TELL HER ABOUT THE BRIDGE AND I CAN HAVE YOU STOP AT HOME ON THE WAY." I nod" thank you two for saving Sira, i just didn't have the instincts i needed to save her. Though i have to ask, why did you two hold hands?" Papyrus smiles" WELL SANS AND I HAVE FOUND THAT WHEN WE HOLD HANDS OUR MAGIC SEEMS TO FEED INTO THE OTHER, GIVING THEM MORE MAGIC TO WORK WITH, WITH BLUE MAGIC, IT JUST MAKES THE STRAIN EASIER ON SANS AND BESIDES HE ALMOST THREW HIMSELF OVER THE CLIFF EDGE, I HAD TO KEEP HIM SAFE AS WELL." I nod and as we walk away a discreat glitch sounded behind us and unfortunatly, neither of us heard as we continued through the beautiful snow.
Sira's pov
We land in a cozy home with an old and well loved green couch and warmth flew through me. I pulled sans's jacket off and i spread my wings as i sit down, glad to rest after my crazy day. Sans walks over to the tv and pulls out a journal and he starts flipping through it. He murmmered as he flipped through the pages, saying stuff about Timelines and Determination. He hits a page with his bony fingers and says" you two were the only ones in that room in the ruins right? The one with the golden flowers?" I nod" John was unresponsive so i figured he may be injured and left to get help, that stupid flower was no help either, though i showed it how to respect others. I went a ways before a monster attacked, i defended John in time, but almost paid the price, the monsters of the ruins brought John and i to Toriel, who saved us both. I would've died if it wasn't for her." Sans nods" the queen is amazing and kind to all, its no suprise that she would heal you two, but how low of an HP do you have?" He walks over and his eye suddenly flares, a screen appearing in front of him and he scans it till his eyes widen" 5 hp?!!! No wonder you almost died, that would put anyone on deaths door, what has happened to you for this to happen?" I shrug" alot really sans, i may seem like a bright and positive person but theres alot that i've lived through, i've lost hope so many times that i've lost count. The only thing keeping me going now is my brother, surely you understand that." My eyes darken at the memories that coursed through my mind as the screams of my friends and even world raced through my ears. I felt like i was falling in a place that was darker darker yet darker. Deeper my mind seemed to go as my thoughts became guilty and shamed as a skeletons arms wrapped around my chest and dragged my mind out as he said" i know what that feels like Sira. I know it very well."
