I-I love you, Toni!

Toni POV:

It's been a month since I broke up with Cheryl. From what I've heard from Betty, she's not doing good at all. I also heard that bitch Heather has been going out with Reggie Mantle. Who knew? I laughed to myself when I heard the news that they were the new power-couple in the Blue and Gold. Sweet Pea has been super supportive with me. He's been there every night that I wake up crying and I'm so greatful for a friend like him. Just as I thought I would be strong today and not break down in tears I hear my phone start to ring. I notice Cheryl's name flash across the screen.

"Hello?" I snap unintentionally into the phone.

"Chill, Toni. It's me." I recognized Betty's voice over the phone and heard faint sniffling in the background.

"Why are you on Cheryl's phone?" I question, regretting my crankiness.

"I uh- I dropped it in the toilet..." She chuckled, embarrassment coating her voice.

"Really? How'd the happen?" I nearly choke on my cherry cola. I don't know why but recently that's all I can drink without feeling sick.

"Well...long story short I was playing a game and then Cheryl barged in with a black eye and a cut across her cheek. Then I dropped it because I jumped and now it doesn't work." She said, her voice serious.

"Wait. Is she okay? What happened?" I asked all in a hurry.

"Uh...sorry Toni...I gotta go." She began, whispering to somebody in the background.

"I'm on my way!" I say, grabbing my serpent jacket and my motorbike keys. Beofre she could protest I hang up and put my phone in my pocket. Once I arrive at Betty's house, I storm in. Alice just smiles genuinely to me from the couch.

"Everything okay, Toni?" She asks with concern, noticing the hurried look on my face.

"Is Cheryl and Betty here?" I ask. Wordlessly, she points toward the stairs and I practically skip five at a time. I barge into the room to find Cheryl, her heard on Betty's lap and Betty calmingly stroking her hair. Cheryl was asleep so I decided to speak in a whisper. "Is she alright? What happened?"

"Penelope happened." She whispered, shaking her head in disgust. I sat down on the bed and Betty carefully moved Cheryl into my lap and I craddled her. I smiled, tears running down my face at the girl. I noticed a swollen black eye and a rather large bandage covering her cheek, blood beginning to bleed through.

"How deep is the cut? Did you clean it correctly?" I turned my gaze to Betty and she nodded.

"It wasn't that deep. It wasn't deep enough to scar."

"Thank god, she is far too beautiful. Wouldn't want her to be upset she had a scar on her face." I sighed, stroking her hair softly.

"You know...she didn't mean to cheat. It was Heather who kissed her. As soon as you left she pushed her away." She smiled weakly at me.

"I know that now. She would never leave me for that popularity whore." I returned the gesture.

"Toni...don't leave me!" Cheryl gasped, sitting up faster than I would've thought possible.

"Never, beautiful!" I hugged her. She turned to me, noticing I was actually there.

"Toni!" She sobbed into my chest.

"I'm sorry beautiful." I rubbed circles in her back.

"I didn't kiss her! I swear!" She sat back, tears running down her face which I quickly wiped away with my thumb.

"I know, babygirl. I forgive you." I cried, hugging her lovingly.

"I-I love you, Toni!" She pulled me into an embrace, my jacket balled into her fists. I hugged back, automatically relaxing into her embrace.

"I love you too!" I lay my head on her hair.

"I knew it! The Choni ship is endgame!" Betty cheered excitedly, bouncing on the bed.

"Ugh!" Cheryl groaned, grabbing a pillow and slapped Betty with it, knocking her onto the floor where she lay, whining how Cheryl hurt her.
