Cathy's first love started in second grade. Her love grew each day for this handsome, short, green eyed Brunet named Luca. Everytime she looked his way her heart initiated a chain reaction of sharp pain down her entire body because each time she looked at him, she was met with a gorgeous missing tooth smile. Though it was the green eyes that she loved the most.
His green eyes was the best part about him. Cathy hated her hazel eyes. She wanted to gouge them out, but she knew the would be painful, and she rather not go though that painful experience. Luca's green eyes made her squirm in excitement. Cathy could stare into those things forever and never get bored, or want to gouge them out. His eyes reminded her of a sour green apple. Green apples were always Cathy's favorite. The tartness produced a sensational feeling in her tiny eight year old mouth. Unfortunately that feeling would always disappear, and only the unwanted core was left. That feeling of emptiness and sadness start to loom there in place of the apple. The unwanted lonely core feeling happened to Cathy.
His green eyes no longer belonged to her, but rather to a short, beautiful girl with black hair and light brown eyes. This girl was sadly Cathy's devoted friend El. When Cathy first saw them together her heart was crushed into a million pieces, but she didn't El that she loved him. Instead she learned to deal with it and got over him. Luca moving sort of helped the healing process. It has been years and she as not once spoken to the handsome, green eyed, Brunet, or even thought about him once.
Now it is her sophomore year in highschool, and life couldn't be better. She dyed her used to be blond hair dark blue, her and El are still best friends, and practically everyone hates her because she either gives them death stare, or the cold shoulder, and sometimes on a good day she will do both to people. Life for Cathy is grand and nothing can ruin it. Maybe except the Brunet hair with blond streaks, green apple eyed, tall, and magnificent looking Luca. Who is now attending her school.
