(Emilia's POV)

I was lost in thoughts when Tia smacked my head. I looked up, she glared at me saying, "You weren't listening to me, were you?" "No, I was". "Oh really! Then tell me what I said?" I scratched my neck not knowing what she said because I was zoned out.

Tia is the best friend I could ever ask for. We met at work and immediately clicked. We have been sharing an apartment for almost a year now. Tia is beautiful, smartass, she have a loving personality but she can be very scary when she's pissed at someone. Angry Tia isn't the best one and have some flaws but so do I. We both are total opposite she's happy and satisfied with her life as for me I am a mess, living this so called life.

I lost everything I had slowly and painfully which caused me severe depression and reason to become suicidal.

When Tia came into my life she fought with me till I stopped, she taught me to live for myself which I'm trying to do. Forgetting everything and moving on isn't easy as it's said, that's why I haven't been able to do it yet but you can't say that I'm not trying.

I was once again brought back to reality but Tia. I sheepishly looked at her and said, "Well, u can repeat that, can't you?"

She shook her head and sighed but still smiled. "Nothing important, let's go for a walk like we do on our day off".

At that moment all thoughts started coming back. I totally forgot why I was up this early? "I can't go with u today" I told her. My head was down but I was sure she was looking at me waiting for me to continue. I look up at her, eyes brimmed with tears, threatening to fall any moment. I couldn't say the exact word so hoping she would understand I said "Its 2nd November today, Tia". After a moment of confusing her expression changed to realization, a small whisper like "Oh" left her lips  but for me that was enough to let those tears flow down. Tia rushed towards me and engulfed me in her arms, holding me close she didn't said a single word till I calmed down. Removing her arms, wiping my wet cheeks she sadly smiled. "Do you want me to come with you? Or you will manage?" I shook my head and smiled at her more like tried to, "I think I can manage" She nodded her head and said "It's 5:15 right now so I'll pick you up from there in an hour then". "It will take a little longer plus I take cab my way back home too". "You won't find any cab there so I'll pick you at 7:00 then we have breakfast together. It's on me and as I taught u never turn down free food" she said making me chuckle lightly. "Now get your lazy ass up and leave otherwise you'll be late".

Nodding my head I stood up grabbed my bag as I already got ready. Giving Tia a hug I stepped out. The sun wasn't in sight, whole sky was covered with dark clouds, and it was going to start raining any moment. I walked few blocks, stopping by a flower shop I bought a beautiful bouquet made of roses. After that I stopped a cab and as I stepped inside it started drizzling. Closing the door I placed my bag and flowers at side. Telling driver the address I looked outside of car window, thinking how peaceful it is.
