"Good night everyone................ 'smirked'."
As I approached the railing and looked down on the crowd everyone was either shocked are in awe. The other crew leaders thought it was me messing with them, so they approached the front of the crowd.
Dark Sparrow, Wangyal, Young Lioness step forward.
W.: "Nick, what type of joke is this. I mean you're the Phoenix King, get real."
Y.L.: "She's right, how can you say something like that?"
"I knew something like this was going to hap............"
"He's telling you the truth!!!!"
Silence filled the warehouse the moment we heard the statement made and directed our attention to the darkest part of the warehouse where the voice came from. As the person stepped out.
"And who might you b............."
"It's been a while since we last saw each other. Darling 'smiling at me'."
Pete & Trey: "Ashanti!!!!!!!!"
"Your back a bit earlier than expected, but why?"
Ashanti: "You my love. I missed us."
I looked at her intensely before I invited her to join me. She was kind of acting weird but I decided to leave it till later after everyone else is gone.
"Everyone, this is Ashanti as you all heard, as many of you can guess she's my wife and my left hand person and the Phoenix Empress."
She lean on the left side of my upper body while I put an hand on her waist. While in that position she kissed my cheek and asked to address the people in the warehouse, I gave her the go ahead and she kissed my cheek another time then stepped forward to the railing and began speaking.
Ashanti: "You guys must be something special to my husband that he would come from the shadows to lead you. I know he was there acting as someone else while observing everyone of you. The truth is that we the members of the board tried to get him to come out and lead you guys even though it's hard for him because he is the most powerful person in this city. I mean think of it, being the leader of the biggest clan in this whole state, owning almost every business in this city except for one. That's a big target on his back so I know you guys can understand why he had led you from the shadows right."
"Couldn't have said it any better, so will you, members of the Phoenix Empire continue to help me keep this Empire of ours the most powerful one ever to have been born?"
Someone in the crowd: "How can we trust after you deceived us like that?"
"I know I deceived you but how else could I know if you guys were worthy of meeting me the as the Phoenix King. So yes I went and led you from among you, I also did it so that I could better understand you guys and the hardships you all face because of me."
D.S.: "Are we going to be able to talk like we always do?"
W.: "Sparrow what are you ask..........."
"Yes, after all we are friend are we not? All of us can meet more frequently and chat face to face. I'll give you all a number you can contact me on if you want to meet."
D.S.: "You have me and my crew allegiance. After all you are the Phoenix King 'bowing down to me'."
W.: "We all do."
Trey: "Starting here and now is the beginning of a new era, we shall take this city and make it into the biggest establishment ever seen."
Pete: "To the Empire!!!!!"
Upon hearing the final statement made by the Adviser everyone took out their personal firearm and gave three gun salute. After walking around for a few minutes and talking face to face with them and ensuring that we will take the city for ourselves, we all split ways, I even told them of the plan for tomorrow. Upon hearing this Ashanti became a little more suspicious than before but as usual I paid little attention to that and gave everyone the time for the meeting and everyone agreed to be there. They all filed out one by one until only me, Pete, Trey and Ashanti were left alone. Turning to her.
"What really happened?"
Ashanti: "What do you mean? I told you why I came back."
"Don't give me that damn excuse! I told you not to return until I say so."
Pete: "Cuz, take it easy. We can never be to careful, someone might be on the outside listening."
Trey: "Pete's right man, now ain't the time to loose your temper. But he's right though 'turning to Ashanti' why did you return and we're safe to assume that it's something terrible."
Ashanti: "The truth is that I've received info of a new crew came and settled in our tur...... I mean your turf and that they are base at that business place you referred to as not conquered yet."
Moving my hand from my face I looked at her in both shocked and anger. Noticing my look she step back about one and a half footsteps.
Ashanti: "The next thing you should know is that this person will stop at nothing to take you out of the picture. They even planted a spy in your Empire."
Pete: "What?!!!!! 'turning to me' cuz what do you intend to do about this person?"
"Everything goes according to as planned, as for this person if it turned out to be true I'll eliminate them. In the mean time go home, get some rest. Tomorrow as we all know may be the beginning of war are peace."
Pete & Trey: "Agreed"
Ashanti: "What should I do love?"
"For now you stay with me, after all we are married and I think it's best if you stick around till this was over."
Ashanti: "I'll do as you said darling."
We went home and planned ahead just in case of a disagreement comes outof this meeting. We all got to the meeting point and I took a total of 20 person to travel with me while everyone else continues the day to day jobs. We went to the office and I noticed that the security was doubled and almost everyone of them had a firearm on them. We came prepared just in case something like that happened.
"You guys stay outside and keep watch, if you hear shots firing inside then engage the armed guards."
One of the 20: "Sure thing boss"
"Also Wangyal, Young Lioness, Pete, Trey and Ashanti, you guys going with me. Dark Sparrow and White Eagle I'll want to monitor things down her."
White Eagle: "Sure thing, we'll keep an eye down here for you."
We left them and entered the building for the meeting. Upon arriving I overheard them talking about the Phoenix King and that he's more mysterious than there boss.
"We're here, now shall we get down to business."
Jessica: "Before that Nick, are is it Albert? Where's this Phoenix King person you work for?"
Ashanti: "What are yo.........."
Putting an hand up in front of her to keep quiet while I was about to speak.
"First off how would you know I work for him if you haven't been watching me Jessica? Secondly, who is this new player in town and why is Shantae not here?"
Jessica: "Nothing get pass you does it? As for Shantae she's right here also she's the boss of this Empire known as Falcons Crest."
While talking Shantae came in from a side door wearing an elegant Falcon Crest emblem on her shirt.
Shantae: "Is this mysterious Phoenix King here yet?"
Jessica: "No, instead he sent his lackeys here to meet us instead."
"Your as naive as always Jessie..."
Jessica: "Then where is he then?"
"You still don't get it do you. I don't represent the Phoenix King, I AM THE PHOENIX KING!!!!!!"
