y/n's pov: as i entered i was greeted with a nice lavender scent. i made my way up to lauren's room as chris was still at baseball practice.
lauren was no where to be found as i called her name she exited the bathroom door. i was met with lauren wearing a towel around her body. i stood there staring at her like a fool.
lauren's pov: i had just gotten out of the shower when i heard someone call my name so i decided to walk out but not before i wrapped a towel around my body.
as i walked out i was met with a shocked y/n. "see what you like" i chuckled. "huh uhhh w-what" y/n stuttered "your early" i said " yeah sorry to have intruded chris is at baseball practice and i had no where to go. my brothers at a friends house and my mom is still at work" she said my whole demeanor changed when she mentioned chris. i had it !! i mean why didn't she choose me? i've got to admit when they started dating i was jealous. "umm lauren? i kind of lost you there, you okay?" "huh oh yea sorry, i just need to get dressed if you don't mind" "oh right, i'll be i'm chris's room"
y/n's pov: don't think i skipped work cause i didn't i had the day off. anyways after the encounter i had with lauren i went to chris's room until she was finished. i walked around his room looking at his trophies and picture frames, there was one that caught my eye

it was a picture of chris and lauren. aww how cute. as i thought to myself before someone came into the room interrupting my train of thought. "hey" lauren said "hi" and the awkward stares begin. we stood there for a few minutes before chris barged into his room carrying his baseball equipment. lauren and i both jumped and stepped away from each other. "oh h-hey babe and sis. what are you guys doing in here"chris said as he was confused to why we were in his room. "oh um i was changing and i told y/n to go to your room until i was finished" lauren said that was a lie. i had told lauren i was going to his room but she never told me to go to his room. i mean it's not a complete lie but still, it'll work. "yeah so how was practice" i said as i walked over to chris and gave him a kiss on his cheek. "it was good i just really need to shower. i smell and i'm sweaty. so babe if you don't mind. i promise i'll make it up to you, ok?" "yea no it's fine either way i have a project to work on with lauren" i said "oh okay we'll have fun" chris said while walking into the bathroom. lauren and i walked back to her room so we can start our project.
