It was a beautiful day. The sun was shining brightly, and the air was filled with the buzzing of the bees and the birds' wonderful songs. Nonetheless, no one cares about the weather in a fictional universe, so let's just get straight to the point.

In their house, Cordon, Corbea, Roswell and Nobi were going about their day.  Roswell was sitting on the couch and hogging the TV remote as usual, and as always, Cordon was trying to take it.  Corbea and Nobi were simply watching this happen, hesitant to get involved.

"It's not fair!"  Cordon whined as he tried to pull the remote away from Roswell's grasp, to no avail.  "You always hog the TV with your dumb cat shows!"

"My cat shows are not dumb.  You only think that because YOU are dumb."  Roswell carelessly kicked Cordon away.

Corbea gasped as this happened.  "Guys, guys, please!!  Violence is never the answer!  Why don't we try to compromise?  Maybe have a specific time when Cordon can use the TV, and then Roswell can have it the rest of the day?"

"Yeah...  No."  Roswell crossed his arms, still gripping the remote tightly.

"That's it!!  Gimme that remote!!!"  Cordon jumped on Roswell, and the two began having a literal cat fight.  Corbea gasped, wanting to intervene, but he'd probably only escalate the situation and end up getting hurt himself.  Knowing this, he stayed out of it, shaking his head in a disappointed manner.

Suddenly, their fighting was interrupted by the doorbell ringing.  The room fell silent for a few moments.  Everyone's eyes were fixed on the door, apart from Roswell, who took this opportunity to roughly shove Cordon off of him, crossing his arms and giving him a glare.

"Ow!  Hey...  Fine, whatever.  I'll get it."  Cordon got up and brushed himself off, making his way over to the door.  However, since he was incredibly short, reaching the doorknob had always been a challenge for him.  He jumped up a few times, trying to grasp it, but he quickly gave up after a few failed attempts, deciding it was too much effort.  He called out to Corbea.  "Bro, boost me!"

"Oh-  Sure thing!"  Corbea walked over and carefully lifted Cordon up to the doorknob.  This was something he did frequently, as he happened to be the tallest of the group, and he felt guilty about Cordon's size making everyday tasks rather difficult.  Plus, he was his big brother after all, and he'd gladly drop whatever he was doing to help him.

Cordon, with his brother's assistance, gripped the doorknob and turned it.  Opening the door, he expected to see another monster on the other side, but was surprised to see nobody there.  At first he thought they had been the victims of a prank, but upon looking down, he realized that there was indeed something there; a package.  Someone had left a package on their step.

"Huh...?"  Corbea carefully set Cordon down, looking down at the box curiously.  He thought for a moment about whether or not he should bring it inside, eventually deciding that he may as well.  He lifted the package, carrying it inside and shutting the door behind him.  Stepping back over to the others, he placed the box atop the coffee table they kept in the living room.  Cordon followed close behind, scampering over to the table.

"What is it??  Who's it for?"  Cordon jumped up onto one of the chairs placed around the table, trying to get a better look at the mysterious package.

"I dunno...  It doesn't have a label."  Corbea examined the box closely, turning it around and looking for anything that could possibly help to identify it.

Despite Corbea seeming cautious about the box, Cordon didn't seem phased.  As he stared blankly at the box, only one thought came to his mind.  "...Can I have it?"
