Indiana Catherine Fenex was a normal girl with an average life. Unfortunately, her life was too normal.
The Fenex family grew attached to a new family, The Woods' family. Richard and Peter would talk and write down notes on books that they would plan to write. Margaret and Maria would often cook together and talk about Margaret's fashion designs over coffé. Tilor and Liu talked about many different things that they both had in common. Indiana and Jeffrey would either go to eachothers' rooms or lay under the cherry blossom tree in the Fenex's household.
All that was destroyed when the Fenex's went on vacation and came back to find out their best friends were brutally murdered and one had gone missing.
The Fenex's broke.
Richard became stressed on being left to write books on his own again, and refused to finish his writting without his partner.
Maria couldn't stand the fact that her best friend was gone. She would cry all night, not eat all day and do nothing but lay down in bed and stare at the ceiling with nothing but sadness.
Tilor lost it when he found out Liu was gone. He became more distant to everyone. He yelled at his family and would go away from the house for hours without anyone knowing.
Indiana became depressed. Knowing her closet friend was missing. She cried and blamed herself. She became more anti-social to her other friends and locked herself in her room holding the bunny her best friend gave her.Since Maria was in bed terms, Indiana took over on cleaning and cooking. She would hum a low and sad melody while she worked. It was one she had heard in her dreams the day of the terrible news.
As she prepared the plates, Richard walked in,"No! No! No! You stupid girl!"
He yelled and picked up a knife, his arm rose, an evil glint in his eyes, India closed her eyes, ready to feel the pain, but it never came. She opened her eyes and saw no one there. She took a deep breath and continued her task.
Dinner went silent. As usual, Maria wouldn't touch her plate.
Afterwards, India took hold of all the dishes and walked to the sink,"Indiana......"
She heard a voice say, it was raspy yet like a whisper in a dark room. She looked to her side and instantly dropped the dishes in the sink, breaking one of the plates and earning a slice on her palm.
Her eyes widened at what she saw, she saw Maria. Red puffy eyes, purple bags underneath them, her skin pale, her hair a mess and her lips cracked and messed up.
She blinked, she saw nothing, nothing stood there."I'm not going crazy, I'm not going crazy, I'm not going crazy."
She chanted over and over in her head as she began to wash the dishes.
She had finished putting the broken dish in the trash when she felt a huge pain on her shoulder, she fell to the floor on her knees, she stopped herself from yelling when she saw a knife stabbed on the wounded area.
India hesitantly pulled off the knife, crying out in the process, she stood up and cleaned her wound with alcohol, making it sting. She then walked back to her room and sat in the dark place.
As India looked at the knife that had stabben her, she felt another presence, and it wasn't welcoming. She looked around but she saw nothing, the lamp flickered and flickered, on and off, on and off, until it finally shut off and left her in darkness. Suddenly something appeared at the end of her bed.
She jumped out of fright and examined it with horror, the thing/being was pitch black, it stood out like a darker black in darkness, the eyes glowed blue in the dark room, strings of the same black flew around it, like messed up hair on a windy, cloudy day. The figure stayed still and stared back at India.
