The sound of my alarm woke me up at 5:00 a.m., giving me the perfect amount of time to get ready for school. I am a junior at *insert school*. Although, I got a little mistreated sometimes I still love going to school I mean what's better than going and seeing all your friends for half the day. Anyways, I do my usual morning routine, which is washing, eating breakfast, brushing my teeth, and picking any sweater with a pair of jeans to match. I start walking to my bus stop and I notice my bus pulling away. It usually never comes this early. I start waving and yelling. "WAIT, HEY, STOP!" but it continued to drive away leaving me to walk to school. "darnit" I murmured.

As I was walking I got a text from felix.

lixie hyung: meet us at the canteen

I responded quickly and sped up my pace so I didn't make them wait for me too long. As I was walking I noticed someone else walking across the street, he seemed familiar but I couldn't get a good look. I brushed it off and continued walking, that is until I bumped into someone. "sorry" He helped me up and I brushed myself off. I looked up the boy was familiar and quite handsome, and then it came to me. It was him. The worst guy in school, from what i've heard. Hwang Hyunjin.  "don't worry, it's my fault, I wasn't watching where I was going." His voice, it was quite angelic and soothing. I could listen to it all day. I was pulled out of my thoughts when he suddenly took out a cigarette and flashed a smile at me before walking away. Why wasn't he mean to me.

*beep* *beep*  "shit" I murmured. Minho pulled up waiting for me to go to school. He kept beeping and yelling for me, so as usual I called him telling him I woke up late again and I would just walk. Although, I hate going alone I'm used to it by now since it happens pretty often. I did my usual morning routine and grabbed an apple off of the table and started walking.

I put in my airpods and started humming and dancing to the music. I waited for the sign to change telling me to cross the street. I reached the other sidewalk bumping into someone in the process. "sorry" his voice was cute. "don't worry, it's my fault, I wasn't looking where I was going." Suddenly, he looked up at me, he had a worried look on his face like some sort of fear. Then I remembered. The rumors. He, along with everyone else, thought I was the worst guy in school and I liked to bully other kids for fun. What sense does that even make. This is why school is my least favorite place on earth. Everyone likes to gossip and start unnecessary drama. I pulled a cigarette out of my pocket, smiled at the familiar boy and kept walking.

time skip  (still hyunjins P.O.V.)

I was in my last class, 5 minutes left, I thought if the time doesn't go by faster I would fall asleep. I really don't feel like getting a detention today. When the class finished, my friends minho and changbin came over to my desk. "finally I was about to fall asleep if she kept talking" I said while gathering my books. We walked into the hallway, when sudden screams were heard. We were surrounded by a crowd of screaming fan girls, trying to take pictures and talk to us. Minho, Changbin, and I get many confessions from poor fan girls daily, of course we always end up rejecting them. I felt bad, but they weren't my type. If I'm being honest i'm gay, I have never dated a girl in my life. I don't feel attracted to any girl I have met. But, amongst all the screaming girls, I saw a boy on the other side of the hallway, the same boy I ran into on the sidewalk, he was looking at me. I locked eyes with him for a few seconds. It felt like everything was in slow motion, all the screams faded, and everyone except the boy disappeared. I winked at him, in return he looked away blushing. He was cute when he was blushing. All of that got interrupted when Changbin grabbed my hand to walk out of the crowd. Our eyes drifted, and when I looked back he was gone.

I made it to the canteen and searched for my hyungs. "JEONGIN" someone called for me. I looked to my right and I saw lixie-hyung, minnie-hyung, and sungie-hyung waiting for me. (felix, seungmin, and jisung.) "sorry i'm late, I had to walk today, since I missed my bus." "aw poor baby I could've picked you up." Felix said while pinching my cheeks. "i'm not a baby leave me alone." "Plus I think I made the right choice to walk." "ouuu what happened, spill the tea." jisung said, as we all laughed. "that's a secret for me and me only." I said while smirking. "Alright weirdos lets go we are going to be late for class." seungmin started to walk away.

time skip

me and sungie were waiting for last period to finish while we quietly played rock paper scissors. "alright class dismissed, remember to do your homework." I gathered my books. Me and jisung were having a random conversation as we continued to leave the classroom. But when we reached the hallway we were crowded into a group of screaming girls. "not again" "it happens everyday jeongin get used to it." I tried to push through all the girls, while panicking because I was about to miss my bus for the second time today. I sighed while looking up, for my eyes to land on Hyunjin. He truly did look beautiful, he had the most clear and handsome face, and not to mention his smile it lit up the whole room. Suddenly his eyes drifted toward me. I tried to look away so he wouldn't notice how nervous I had just got, but I couldn't, I didn't want to. It's like my eyes were locked with his, I never wanted it to end. I was lost in his gaze, when he winked at me. I swear I had just melted and my face was as red as a tomato in that moment. I looked away shyly before staring back into his eyes. He suddenly got pulled and our eyes drifted. I pouted looking for his gaze again. Then all the girls started moving, and I was able to catch my bus without having to fight a bunch of fan girls.
