So it turns out Jimin was interested in my life and I was interested in his so we stayed talking for hours. We somehow ended up in the living room watching funny videos of him and his roommates.

"JIMIN GET YER SORRY BUTT UP RIGHT NOW AND EXPLAIN!" Someone screams. I jump looking around anxiously. "HYUNG! You scared her!" Jimin screams back caressing the sides of my face in a way to calm me. "And who exactly is she?!" The other man questions. "She's our new neighbor we were just watching stuff on Netflix and fell asleep. I promise nothing else happened!" Jimin tells the older guy.
I look around as Jimin speaks with "Jin" and I spot a younger boy watching me, his eyes wide like saucers. "Jungkook you're grounded too don't forget, and stop making our guest uncomfortable!" Jin screams making the boy flinch away.
"Oh right, I'm Jess. I moved in two days ago? Maybe? I came by because Jimin called the police on me."
"Jimin?! What the-"
"No! I didn't mean for her, it was a fan and she tried to press charges on Jess." Jimin reassures his friends.
I look at Jin's watch and see the time. My eyes go wide.
"I didn't mean to fall asleep but I really gotta be with my brothers during the night, they bad for staying up late and they start school tomorrow."

As I step into the house I become alert. I lock the door and start walking around. "I know you're here." I speak into the quiet room. Finally the boys show themselves. They were stuck in their half shifted forms whining in pain. Fur clinging to their skin in patches as nails dig through their sling and their bones creak. Luckily I am the cure to this a smalls scratch from my well groomed nails should help them back into their favored form. "You left us!" Victor whines hugging my legs. He is the youngest of us, he is only eight. I lift him up into my arms and spin around making him laugh. "Okay I'll fix us some dinner then you all have to sleep." I tell them, they all nod in agreement.
After dinner I sat with Milo, Lip, Tanner, and Cody in their room. We had many rooms but as a tight knit pack the boys didn't wanna be separated. "We're gonna be good tomorrow right?" I asked. The four nod obediently. "And we won't shift because humans don't like that!" Milo adds. "Good." I say standing, "The best pup will get a treat, I promise. Goodnight." I tell them, planting a kiss on each boy's head and leaving after. Clint was waiting for me outside the room. "Can we talk?" He asks after I shut the door. I nod and lead him upstairs to my room.
"What did you want?" I ask him. He grabs my hands into his and sighs. "Why are we going to school like humans? We've been implanted with all the information they'd teach us and we aren't actually human. It makes no since and we aren't even supposed to be leaving our house unless we need more food." He tells me, worry laced in his voice. "I think we've been lied to. . .We aren't being taken to the arctic or a forest, it just makes no sense to. We're too strong to just give up, they don't want to lose sight of us, VL1 made it obvious that he knew so instead of coming with us they kept him in the lab." I tell him. He sighs. "So...What about the boys? They won't survive a month with the humans. They're too hot headed to deal with brats." I smiled. "We'll give them a school year to decide, okay? If they don't like it we'll shift and go to a animal sanctuary. I know a place that'd accept wolves."
"So you wouldn't go with us?" He asks with an empty voice. I frown. "We both know that answer. I may be a hybrid but I've always been more in tune with humans. I like to do the opposite of what the scientists would believe. Maybe with my knowledge I could go to college after high school and become a veterinarian, I'd help you guys, just, I won't be shifted. You are my pack so I'd still see you if I went with you or not." I tell him. He hugs me tightly.
