The cool September air nipped at Dean Winchester's skin. He was wearing enough layers, clad in a suit and a signature Gryffindor robe.
He walked the grounds of his nee school hoping everything would work out. His father was furious when Dean's acceptance letter came. His father said a wizard was a disgrace to the family.
Dean held his potions textbook close to his body and sighed. He hoped he would meet someone. Dean tried to forget about the things his father had said.
Dean missed his twelve year old brother Sammy, who was devastated when Dean left.
When Dean walked out the door to get to the airport for London, he saw a note Sam had left in his suitcase.
"Dear Dean," it read. "I know the things Dad said were mean and cruel, but he doesn't know what's best for you. I'm proud my brother is a wizard. I'll miss you Dean. -Sam."
Dean had smiled at Sam's kind words of encouragement, but still couldn't believe it.
As Dean made his way through Hogwart's corridors, he noticed an unfamiliar face.
A Ravenclaw boy with ocean blue eyes and dark hair, with a smile that could cure cancer.
