It's been 30 years since the Flowers of Maize that Hana and Team Hao participated in. Hana is 43 and his father Yoh is 58. Due to the dethroning of the past Shaman King Hao, The Patch scheduled the next Shaman Fight for 30 years following the Flowers of Maize. This time Hao is indisposed and though their are many participants with selfish motives this time there is no one with superior animosity or desire for world domination. 5 young teenagers with superior shaman talent have been chosen to participate in the new fight. It's the year 2046 many advances in technology have happened and nature has been returned to its former glory with new forms of waste management. It's a new generation of shamans with more unique ways of utilizing their powers.
