"Nick, I swear to god I've lost it this time." Harry says as he frantically rummages through the bag he's just re-packed.
"Harold, your bloody passport's with me. You plonker." Nick rolls his eyes. He told Harry minutes ago that he had both of their passports with him.
"Oh," He looks up from his suitcase.
"Right, c'mon then. The cab's waiting outside." Nick grabs his bags and waits as harry zips up his suitcase and throws on his rucksack and his old-as-hell beanie. His 'lucky' beanie.
"Bye, bye Cheshire, hello world." Harry waves goodbye to his and Nick's shared apartment, in the middle of Cheshire.
"Harry, you're such a loser." Nick shakes his head as his best friend blows an air kiss at the empty flat.
~
"We've got no fucking time for Starbucks! We're boarding in five minutes." Harry urges as he pulls Nick away from the smells of coffee beans and blueberry muffins. In all honesty, Harry would go in there in a heartbeat. But not when they've got less than five minutes until boarding.
"But the barista is cuteee" Nick whines as Harry drags him towards the waiting area.
"And I'm cuter." Harry cheeks, playfully pouting at his best mate.
"Hmm, true." Nick says, stopping in his tracks just to bop Harry on the nose sweetly.
~
"Nick? ...Nick? Nick!" Harry whisper-screams, poking the boy in the airplane seat beside him until he noticed.
"Mmm, what the hell do you want?" Nick pulls off his headphones and frowns sleepily at the little whinge-bag.
"What movie are you watching?" Harry smiles, pleased he's finally got his friend's attention.
"For real?" Nick gapes, laughing at Harry.
"...yes?"
"Harold Styles have you never seen Bride Wars?" Nick pauses his movie and turns completely towards Harry in his tiny seat.
"...no?"
Nick is giggling at how pathetic Harry is, throwing his head into his hands.
"I'm guessing I should watch it then?" Harry furrows his eyebrows. Was it bad that he'd never even heard of the film?
"Yes." Nick lifts his head.
"Oh. Alright." He says as he turns back to the small screen in front of him, trying to find the so called 'Bride Wars'.
~
When the announcement about landing soon is sounded, Harry is knocked out, asleep on Nick's shoulder and wrapped around his arm. Bride Wars is still playing, though Harry doesn't realise as his headphones fell off as he fell asleep, ditching the movie half way.
"Haz?" Nick says, ruffling Harry's hair, trying to wake him politely.
"Muhmm" Harry mumbles in his sleep, nuzzling deeper into Nick's arm and covering his face as his friend slides the window shade up, revealing the hot sun shining down on them and India.
"Wakey-wakey princess." Nick lifts Harry's chin and the boy squints his eyes as he wakes up.
"Was sleeping, Nikki." Harry wines, rubbing the slumber off his face.
Nick's eyes searched over Harry's face as he yawned. His hair was the craziest thing, but also the cutest.
"I know, but we're landing in like one minute and we gotta buckle up and turn off our shit." He informs, as he switches off his phone and does up his seatbelt.
"So now's a bad time to say I gotta piss?"
"Typical Styles, innit?"
~
"Welcome to New Delhi" A pretty lady greets as the passengers hop off the plane.
"Thanks," Harry awkwardly half-waves at the air hostess.
"Smooth." Nick teases, pulling on his backpack.
"Shut up. M'sleepy. And gay." Harry giggles, bumping shoulders with Nick.
"True, true."
~
"How long's the drive to the hotel?" Harry hums, rubbing his eyes and yawning as Nick picks their suitcases up off the carousel.
"Four hours." Nick states surprisingly calmly.
Harry's eyes widen and he drops his hands.
"...the fuck? Why?" He frowns. A four hour drive in a tiny taxi is the last thing he wants right now.
"Well, Harry, we are currently in New Delhi, and we have to be in Jaipur."
"Whatttt? Whyyyy?" Harry moans, stomping his feet as he takes his bag from the snickering Nick.
"It's pretty. You want good photos, you gotta work for them." Nick raises his eyebrows at Harry's frown.
"Ugh, fine." Harry gives up as they walk towards the exit.
~
The drive was at least 5 and a half hours, due to traffic.
Harry puked out the car window at least three times.
They're at the hotel now, checked in and unlocking the door to their room.
"I still don't know how you got car sick. We were moving like, one foot per minute. Legitimately slugging down the road." Nick laughs and cringes at how much Harry smells like vomit and airplane food.
"I wasn't car sick, it was just the smells and I got dizzy." Harry frowns, stepping into the room with two twin-sized bed and an ensuite bathroom. It wasn't much, but it was good enough to spend three nights in.
"Right then, you go shower. And don't touch me." Nick shooed Harry off towards the loo.
He was utterly dirty. He still smelt so much like puke as all he was given to get the spew off his hands and face, was the driver's napkin that was like, three inches by four.
"What was that?" Harry turned towards his best mate.
"Nothing..."
"No, no, you said something about touching you..." Harry smirks. He knows Nick's a germaphobe and hates puke and dirt and snot and everything that's not sparkling clean.
"I said nothing." Nick backs up. Harry follows him.
"If you don't tell me, I'm going to assume you said 'and do touch me'."
"No! No Harry I said don't! Please! No!" Nick can't help but laugh as he runs away from his companion, getting as far away as he can in the tiny room.
"Too late!" Harry giggles and grabs Nick, hugging him and spinning him around, rubbing his smelly self all over the neat-freak.
"HARRRYYY!" Nick screeches, still laughing though.
Harry steps away from Nick, folding his arms and smiling goofily at the gagging boy before him.
"One more thing, Nicholas,"
"What." Nick spits, sticking his tongue out at Harry.
"I'm showering first!" Harry yells as he pushes past Nick, towards the bathroom.
"Fuckkkkk!" Nick whines.
~
Hi again
Okay, so, sorry that was all over the place and quite short, but it was basically to show their first trip. It's hard to do a proper chapter when they're in an airport because airports take forever and shit so whatever.
Not all the chapters will be like that. Defiantly. Most will be normal and stuff so please don't leave.
Love you,
Lo x
