Namjoon's POV;

Everything stopped. I felt the world freeze around me, feeling it slowly start to fall down around me. I was frozen in place, unable to speak, unable to move, unable to blink.

"Sir? Are you alright?" The doctor shook my shoulder a bit. My vision became spotted, and everything slowly went black, yet I could feel everything spinning around me. It felt like the sky was falling, the ground below me was crumbling away, the air around me becoming slowly poisonous.. everything felt wrong. Like time was standing still, but coming to an end. It couldn't be true.. it just couldn't.. Tae seemed so healthy before all this went down, Why him..? Why him, why now, why ever??

I took in a small gasp as I came to, only seeing the ceiling as my eyes opened.

"Joonie? Are you alright..?" I heard the faint voice of jungkook. I blinked a few times to clear my vision, and I saw him sitting next to me.

"Huh..? What happened..?" I asked, leaning my head back against the wall.

"You passed out and hit your head pretty hard.." Jimin said. I looked around the room, and I realized I was in a chair of a hospital room. Tae's hospital room.. my eyes darted around the room, and I saw him sleeping in bed. Everything from before washed over me at once, and it felt like someone was holding a pillow over my face and pushing down as hard as they could. Jungkook helped me to my feet, bringing me over to his bedside. I sat right next to him, taking his hand. I couldn't help but break down into tears.

"I-I'm Sorry.. I-I'm so sorry I didn't notice any signs sooner.." I cried into his hand.

"Joonie, there's no way you could've known.." Jungkook hugged me from behind. I felt sick to my stomach.. I still couldn't believe this was happening..

"Daddy..?" I looked up, to see Tae's eyes blinking open.

"I'm right here baby.. I'm right here.." I gently cupped his cheeks. He looked up at me, gently putting his hand over mine, which rested on his cheek.

"A-Am I gonna die..?" He asked. I was just about ready to throw up.. the room was silent. What was there to say after what everyone found out..?

"No baby.. you're not gonna die.. I won't let it happen.. I promise.. but you do have cancer.." I sniffled and stroked his hair back.

"I know.. I heard the nurses.. it's in my kidney.. how will I get a transplant..?" He asked.

"Someone will have to donate a kidney of theirs, honey.. but there's a list, but don't worry.. you're gonna be fine and you're gonna get through this.." I squeezed his hands.

"I will..?" He asked.

"Of course.. we'll all be here to help you.." I said.

"I'll gladly give up a kidney," Hobi chimed in.

"Me too," jin said. "We all will if we have to."

"No!" Tae exclaimed.

"Honey, why not..?"

"I don't wanna put any of you through that.. w-what if I lose any of you..? What if something goes wrong..? I'd rather die than have anything happen to any of you.." he said. My heart sunk.

"Honey-"

"No, I can't let you guys.. I just can't.. please.." tears welled in his eyes. All I could do was hold him.

"Shh, shh.. breathe honey, just relax.. everything will be figured out, I promise.." I cooed.
