"Now son, you are going to need to be very brave for me."
"Mom! I can't!" Tears began to fill Nate's eyes.
His mom started to tear up as well,
"Mommy! Don't let them take me away!"
She was now sobbing, "I'm sorry son, but you have too. I will see you soon."
With that, men in white suits came out and took Nate away from his mom's arms and threw him into a white box with a white bed, white walls, and a single white ball.
"MOM! NO!"
They doors shut and it was suddenly quiet.
That was maybe the last time Nate would see his mom.

Nate~
Nate has been in the cell for ten years. There has been nothing but white. The walls are white, the bed is white and so are the rest of the basic necessities. The only extra thing he has is a white rubber ball which is seemingly indestructible. Constantly over the years he has bounced the ball off the wall. He has bounced the ball off the wall so much it came to him at instinct. Whenever he thought about getting out, he soon lost hope when a letter came soon after in his meal saying that he wouldn't get out.
He had absolutely no hope. He tried to break the walls but he would end up bruising his hand. The bruises healed quickly and he kept trying but soon he gave up that hope. He would also try knocking on the door, hoping the mysterious people that put him in the white prison would open it up. His hope was dampened and defeated. He became to the realization that there was no way out.
But that's when the door opened.
