The Freak & A Cheerleader Chapter 1 - Part 1

CHAPTER 1 (part 1)

       I sat there in the corner, watching my mate, Carly Gavin, the one who was destined to be with me, being fondled by the person who bullied me since middle school.

       I, Nathan Scott, more commonly known as the school 'freak', lived in a small city of Virginia, with my mom and two little siblings, Jeremy and Maya. I recently turned seventeen and that was the time when my whole world came crushing down because I found the one I had been looking for since my mom told me about werewolves and mates.

       Never in my wildest dream, had I thought that Carly Gavin would be my mate. She was the daughter of the Alpha of our pack, Dark Shadow. Not only that, she was the Queen Bee of Burton High School.

       I shifted when I turned seventeen and being a male wolf, I had the ability to recognize my mate. But for female wolves, they had to kiss the person to know who's their mate. That was the reason why she didn't know I was her mate because she would never ever look at me.

Ever since I found my mate, my wolf had been in turmoil. The pain I felt everytime I saw her with anybody else, was becoming hard to endure with each passing day.

      I, for once in my life, wished that I was not a 'nobody'. I wanted my mate to know that I was the one who she was supposed to be with, but I knew deep down that it was too much to ask for.
