A/n ok so the POV switches between Markus and Seraph every other chapter with the occasion POV of someone else. Also this is the character Kitty Markus' friend and Grim's sister. (Grim is the Grim reaper. Just realized that we forgot to mention that)
I woke up the next "morning" the moonlight hitting my face. My mom walked into my room yelling "Markus get up! Your gonna be late for your first day of school!" then Nina came into my room dumping my bag and uniform on my head." "Oww! fine get out so I can get ready." I said annoyed. One minute later I was out the door eating a brain heading to my nightmare, that is Mythology High.
When I got there I started searching for Kitty and Grim my best friends since kindergarten. Of course I found them at the pool, Kitty's favorite place in the school even though she's a werecat. "Hey M.A.!" Kitty said excitedly and Grim just nodded in acknowledgement. "Hey guys. How's the castle?" I asked (kitty and grim are royalty and kitty's the heir to the crown) "ughh not good." she said grimly "we got robbed by another ghost. She didn't leave a clue about who she was ,and I can't figure out where she's from..."
"Yeah Kitkat's pretty upset ,because they took the necklace mom gave her." Grim said interrupting his little sister. Kitty rolled her eyes at the nickname her brother and I gave her back in second grade, but nodded sadly "... but if anyone asks, tell them, we're ok." she said a stern look in her eye.
Just then , splash, it came from the pool. I twisted around just as a fallen angel came bobbing up swimming to the side of the pool. I rushed over to help her up out of the water. As she got out kitty rushed over saying "Seraphine! What happened?!" then I froze shoot mom's going to kill me! I thought urgently.
"I'm fine." she said in a soft and sweet voice, she had flame like ginger hair, bright green eyes (the one covered by her hair), beautiful black and white wings and halo, "Thanks for the help." "Here" I said handing her my sweatshirt, "I'm Markus by the way." I said sheepishly. "I'm Seraphine." she said giving me a kind of nervous look. I had no clue why, I was too busy looking into her beautiful emerald eye. WAIT! What Am I thinking!! "Mark" kitty interrupted my thoughts, "Do ya think ya could show Seraph around the school? I promised her I would but I've gotta head to a board meetin'." Why Me?! "I could do it." Grim said. Thank god. Kitty elbowed him saying "No ya can't. You've got a book club meetin'. Remember?" Dang it! Grim looked up and remembered what he needed to do. "Oh right sorry. Gotta run!"
