((edit- I am changing Deceit to Janus anywhere it applies in all my stories containing the Sides. If I haven't changed it, it means the Character saying or thinking "Deceit" doesn't know his name yet but will learn it later on. Anna doesn't know his name do no one else speaks it if she can hear. He will tell her when he is ready. ))
((In this story, everyone but Remy is straight. Picture above is mine. ))
Anna stormed through the door to the Mind Palace and slammed it behind her. She was grumbling under her breath. She walked upstairs and went into Roman's room. She stole a pair of his pj pants and one of his t-shirts. Then she snuck in and stole Janus's cloak off his bed. Since he was in the shower at the moment she knew he wouldn't catch her. Then she went and walked up to Virgil, who treated her like a cuddly SLIGHTLY younger sister, and he gave her his headphones, knowing she'd had a bad day. Then she stole a plate piled high with Patton's frosted Sugar cookies and Remy's Starbucks coffee before she went into Virgil's room to sulk and put herself in a different mood. A better mood hopefully. Everyone raised a brow and began counting. When they reached 20 everyone heard a loud *CRASH* like someone had hit the wall. Patton sighed and went to fix the wall as Janus came out hissing in anger, cradling his left hand, proving it was he who had punched the wall.
Janus: "Where isss my cloak?!"
When he was angry, the liar trait had a habit of hissing his "S's" when he spoke. He glared at everyone. Virgil was on his phone, Roman was talking to his brother about an idea they were working on, Logan was reading a book on Molecular Physics, Patton was softly singing as he cleaned the table, and Remy was pouting in his room. The five in the living room and dinning room looked at him. Patton smiled at his snake son as he came to him.
Patton: "I think Anna may have it son."
Janus looked confused. He had heard about this "Anna" but had never met her. She had come to live with them about a month ago, but he hadn't ever ran into her. He mostly stayed in his room since no one but Patton really trusted him, not that he blamed them. He rarely ever told the truth after all... he opened his mouth to ask where she was and Virgil spoke up.
Virgil: "You might check my room. Whenever she has a bad day, like today, she steals stuff from us like Roman's PJs and Remy's coffee and hides in my room with my headphones plugged into her phone. So watch it....or don't...I dont really care."
Janus soft hissed in Virgil's direction before storming up to Virgil's room. He knocked and got no answer so he opened the door and stopped and stared at the scene in front of him. Sitting on the bed in Roman's far-too-big-for-her PJs was the most beautiful girl he had ever scene. Long chocolate brown hair casscaded down her back and covered part of her face. Her bangs were a soft lavender. A smatter of pale brown freckles acrossed her pale face. Her turquoise blue eyes sparkled with tears as she softly cried while she was softly sung "All The Right Moves, by All American Rejects". His eyes widened as he saw his cloak around her shoulders, and there was a plate of Patton's frosted sugar cookies by her. As she finished the song she sank her small white teeth into her petal pink full bottom lip. Janus shut the door with a bright pink blush acrossed his face, tinting the scales on his face a pale green. He went back downstairs and went into the kitchen. He sat down at the island in the center and softly sighed. Patton noticed the sigh and turned away from the sink where he was doing dishes, he dried his hand on a dish towel and took a seat opposite the one his hissy son had taken.
Patton: "What's wrong Dece? Are you okay?"
Janus explained what he had seen. Patton's eyes widened. He began gathering the things for one of Anna's favorite dinners. Grilled cheese and tomato soup. Patton would make hers a blend of two of her favorites... Pepperjack and Smokey Goulda. After about an hour there was a large pot of creamy Tomato and Basil soup and multiple sandwiches at each person's plate. With a name plate and each person's favorite at each spot. And drinks.
Patton: "Can you go get Anna for dinner? Ill go get Remy."
Janus: "o...kay... if you say so..."Janus went up to Virgil's room and walked in and tapped the girl on the shoulder.
Janus: "Patton says it isnt dinner."
Janus softly cursed at himself. He had returned to lying and he wasnt sure she knew to flip his words, or who he was.
Anna:okay Deceit... tell dad ill be down in a few.
Her voice was soft. He left and went downstairs and into the dinning room and found his seat, he sat down thinking. She had known to flip his words, and she had known who he was. He had Patton to his left. To Patton's left it went Logan, Virgil, Roman, Remus, Remy...Anna? But that put the girl to the right of him. She came down a few minutes later and Janus silently gasped. She moved somewhat gracefully, even in PJs that were much-too-large-for her. She had taken off His cloak though... she sat down next to him and looked at the sandwiches.
Anna: "wow dad, my favorite... thanks."
Patton: "well I know you've had a bad day so I figured make you one of your favorite meals for dinner."
The Duke: "even I have to agree. You looked rough when you came in. Patton you even put blue cheese in mine. Delicious!!"
Princey: "while my Brother can be sick in his eating habits, I have to agree this is an excellent din din."
Patton: "well thanks boys, id hug all of you but im afraid that would make this too cheesy..."
Logan: "Patton please no dad jokes while we are eating."
Remy: "I don't like tomato soup... but this sandwich is lit bitches!!"
Virgil: "I guess this is a pretty great meal."
Janus: "I totally dont like it. "((First chapter down. Tell me how you like this story. And let me know if you have any ideas for plot. This is a Janus x My OC story so no requests for your OCS x anyone in this story.
