I haven't seen Chandler since we were kids. He was one of my favorite cousins. We always used to hang out and had so much in common I guess cause we both liked girls. I knew I was gay when I was 6 years old. Quite young I know but I just always knew what my heart wanted. Having it been almost 11 years since I last saw my cousin I decided I would find him, so I did and bought an apartment in his building, apartment 16. My apartment was located above a cute little coffee house called Central Perk. I didn't know where Chandler would be when I saw he wasn't in his apartment so I went to grab some coffee. When I opened the door to the shop I saw him sitting on a couch next to a woman with black hair. I walked over to him and smiled.

"Hey chandler!" I almost yelled
"Vanessa?" He asked
"Yup it's me" I said smiling
"Well why don't I introduce you to everyone" he said

Pointing to the lady next to him he said "this is Monica and over there is her brother Ross, my roommate from collage." Then pointing to the seat across from him "that's Joey and over there is Phoebe, and the blonde by the coffee counter is Rachel" he smiled big. I looked over at the blonde and smiled shyly even though she couldn't see me. Chandler chuckled knowing I was staring and playfully pushed me.

After an hour or so I already felt like I was apart of there group of friends, like I've known them for years. As everyone was parting there ways to get ready for dinner at Monica and Rachel's place, I stayed back and spoke with Rachel. We were sitting on the couch and she had something in her hair. I giggled and she looked up, "what's wrong?" I started to blush and felt my skin burn up "there is something in your hair" I said my voice shaking. "Oh whoops can you get it" she asked and I nodded and pulled the piece of lint out of her hair. I felt tension rising between us and sighed. Don't think like that Vanessa. I said to myself she is straight.

"So what do you do for a living?" Monica asked me at the dinner table. "Oh I'm actually a social worker I mainly work with sick children, in hospital care." I smiled as I'm very proud of my job. "Wow that's amazing" Joey said, his mouth still full of food. I laughed and moved my head up and my eyes met Rachel's. "So um Nessa, what was your last case like?" Chandler asked I shook my head "I can't say to much that would be breaking confidentially but it was a little girl suffering from severe anemia" I sighed and looked up and squeezed my eyes shut trying not to cry "she didn't make it but she was very strong" I saw everyone frown. "I'm so sorry" Ross said "as a doctor my-" Ross started talking when Rachel cut him off "a paleontologist isn't a doctor!" She whined. I laughed to myself she was really cute when she was pissed. "So Vanessa, are you seeing anyone?" Joey asked smirking "no I'm not" I chuckled and Chandler gave me a look. "Oh ok then wanna maybe go out?" I couldn't help but start cracking up when he asked. "Wait- what's so funny?" Joey asked frowning. "Well you see I don't date-." Phoebe cut me off "what?!" I sighed "let me finish, I don't date.. men"
