UNEDITED. PLEASE DON'T CALL ME OUT ON IT!

"I don't suppose you'll tell me what the hell that was will you?" Malia paces around in her house. Her hand support her abdomen. She's weak, lifeless, defenseless and confused. All because of him. She suffered pain for him and his actions.

"What do you want to know?" Theo's eyes are downcast. His face marred with guilt. She would find out eventually. There was no use in hiding the sins he's done.

It probably would've been better if he was kept under the ground.

"Don't give me that bullshit, Theo. You don't get to feel guilty here" Malia's arms crossed around her chest. She stopped pacing and glared at him.

"There was a price I had to pay in order to be here."

"What is that?"

"I lost all of my abilities that I used to have when I drained them from Tracy and Josh."

"That doesn't explain anything." He's really being coy for once and it was annoying Malia. She wanted him to explain everything. His motives. His ability to fool her. His twisted definition of love. Everything.

Malia had been flying on cloud nine for weeks until his true colors started to form. She hated him for it. She hated that the Theo she invented in her mind didn't exist. Reality had finally arrived to haunt her.

"You don't want to explain what just happened with Tracy? Why you didn't stand up for me and why she thinks I'm evil incarnate?"

Theo just stood there his gaze poise and serious.

"Malia I--"

"I had sex with you! I trusted you! I believed that you changed!" Malia's hands covered her face. The tears coming from her eyes leaked to her palms and down her shirt. She was lifeless. Hurt. Betrayed. "You expect me to believe that a couple of minutes ago happened? We were doing so well, you and I! And I should've known it was too good to be true."

A harsh silence cut through the were coyotes. A blizzard of wind erupted making way for the silence.

"It was the dread doctors okay!" Theo erupted. His hands flew in the air. More so it was out of desperation. He knew he messed up and everything was coming back to bite him. It's not like he could've kept this secret forever. Eventually Malia would've found out.

"It's always their fault isn't it?" She says sarcastically groaning at the excruciating pain within her body.

"What do you mean...?" Theo had to control himself here. The more upset he got the more it would push her away. He didn't want that. He wanted her to understand his viewpoint.

"Malia, you think I had a choice? Liam was a set up in the plan as well. I had to do something for the dread doctors and they lured Liam to take me out of the ground. Part of the plan was to resurrect Tracy and the others in my pack, but I was too far gone into it that I couldn't get myself out."

"That's the best made up story I've ever heard, Bravo Theo," Malia's snark was her best defense in this situation. She didn't know what to expect from Theo anymore. She didn't know if there was any hope for him left, at least in her mind she didn't think so.

Theo gave up. He sat on the couch putting his hands under his chin. It wasn't supposed to end up like this. We were supposed to get through it.

Can't keep her....

Only a distraction.

Yes, Malia was a distraction but a good one. She was a person who knew Theo's faults yet made him smile simply by just looking at her. He couldn't help the butterflies that erupted from his stomach every time he saw her. He just knew that he missed her embrace and her smile.

Despite the torturous pain that Malia felt, she sat next to him taking his hand into hers. The comfort from the contact made her feel better though given the circumstance that they were in.

"Why did you do it?"

It was a simple question. Something that Theo could've simply answered with a "I don't know" but it was more than that. There was something that was holding Theo back from completely being with Malia the way she expects him to.

Bitter silence filled the air. The werecoyotes were staring ahead at the reflection of the night from Malia's window. Theo's fingers rubbed aganist Malia as if he was trying to find solace within them.

"Power. You know that as a kid I had a messed up childhood. I killed my sister and now it seems like hell is coming back to bite my ass. You were part of the plan. I didn't know exactly how to explain this to you before you found out. In a sense, you were also my light in place of a bad day. When I knew I was having a shitty day I knew you could quickly cheer me up with your--"

"Your smooth talking doesn't work on me Theo. I'm sure you were just looking for a good fuc--"

"No!" He boomed. "it wasn't like that at all! With you things were natural. Nothing was forced. Though I might've felt that way in the beginning, I just I needed you. Some days I had to restrain myself from coming to see you because it would make me sound clingy. And then you made me start feeling... things. Things I couldn't explain."

At this point Malia had already embraced him. She put her strength and energy into calming him down the way he did for her when she was agitated. Though not everything was forgiveable, she knew with him it was possible.

"Malia," The sobs overtook him. She could laugh at the way he looked at the moment. He was alone, sad, desperate and everything else in between. And yet... there was nothing within her to push him away. He was already confessing too much to begin with. What more could've given him a chance to crack?

"Shhh..." she closes her eyes keeping her arms around him hugging him like her life depended on it.

"I'm sorry. For everything. I know things haven't been the best between us and things are not shaping up the way they should be, but I'm sorry for Stiles and Tracy and all the hell in between."

And that was that. For the both of them every bad thing had come to this. it had to come to the point where everything was sprawled on the table. Their feelings and emotions. The pressure and the contemplations have lead them to this moment. The moment where despite all the things that should've kept them apart. They didn't. Because for once Theo had a partner, a person who despite his flaws could be near him and understand him half way as long as he's willing to give her way.
